Rosario Dawson may be acting as the anchor of Marvel’s universe on the small-screen, subtly tying together the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, but The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the so-hot-right-now actress has been tapped for Warner Bros.’ upcoming Lego Batman spinoff.
According to the outlet, Dawson has now landed the coveted part of Batgirl, starring opposite Will Arnett who is on board to reprise his role as the World’s Greatest Detective after last year’s box office success. Indeed the addition of the actress is just another feather in the cap of Lego Batman, which has now recruited Michael Cera and Birdman‘s Zach Galifianakis as Robin and the Crown Prince of Crime himself, the Joker, respectively.
