Daisy, Daisy....
Challenge has finished
This challenge is all about daisies, one of the largest families of flowering plants in the world, (Asteraceae, also called Compositae). They are found everywhere on Earth except Antarctica. A daisy is actually two flowers in one: the coloured petals and the cluster of (usually) tiny disc petals that form the "eye". Your daisies should be outside in the natural environment, alive, and not inside your home in a vase. The entry can be a single daisy or whole fields of them, viewed at ground level, from below or from above. Insects or spiders can be present, but should not dominate the the picture. No photos of humans or their pets will be accepted here, and no photos of roses, hibiscus, tulips, waterlilies; just flowers which are, or look like daisies. Macro and close-ups welcome. Size of entry: 1,600px maximum.
