In the midst of a migrant crises where thousands are pouring into Europe in search of a better future... there's a unique kind of refuge in Berlin. It's a charity called "Refugees Welcome" and it helps migrants who otherwise cannot afford the housing. Flatmates Till and Sarah were looking for a new roommate in the German capital when they heard about it. (SOUNDBITE) (German) TILL BRUCHWITZ, SAYING: "It's very simple. The room costs money and Seydou pays a part, a bit less than half, and the rest we have collected via micro donations." Their roommate, Seydou, is a refugee from Niger who used to work in Libya... until it became too dangerous. He's grateful for the housing and his new flatmates even though there are still more hurdles to cross in if hopes to stay in Germany. (SOUNDBITE) (French) REFUGEE FROM NIGER, SEYDOU NOUHOU, SAYING: "They are like family for me. They have given a lot to me, freedom. I can do many things, but I can't work. I can go to school and do other things, but not working." This 'Airbnb'-styled charity began as a just an idea last November but it says it's since placed more than 80 refugees in shared flats... and that nearly 800 people have signed up with offers of housing.
