Conference Championships
In addition to 49 national championships, Johns Hopkins University has amassed 223 conference titles. The Johns Hopkins men's track team won the school's first conference title on record in 1923.
Leading the way in the trophy count is the men's swimming team, which has won 32 conference titles, including an amazing streak of 28 consecutive championships from 1971-1998.
Several sports have seen truly dominating eras. Currently, the baseball team has won 10 Centennial Conference titles since 2001, while the men's fencing, football, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's tennis, women's tennis and women's cross country teams all have at least six conference titles to their credit since 2000.
The 2013-14 academic year was a banner one for the Blue Jays as Johns Hopkins claimed a school record 14 conference titles. Hopkins won 12 Centennial Conference titles, one Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Fencing Association title and one Eastern Women's Fencing Conference title. Highlighting the year were the men's and women's cross country and track & field programs, which combined for six conference championships.
