We marvelled at his stunning time-lapse of video of Shanghai, and now JT Singh brings us another tour of this glorious city, this time through an even more remarkable lens - the humble pedestrian.

Accompany JT Singh as he journeys through some of Shanghai's most recognisable streets and landmarks. Beginning with a stroll along the Bund against the spectacular backdrop of Pudong's skyscrapers, follow Singh as he traverses throw the throng of people on Nanjing East Road and Yu gardens; before navigating through the labyrinth that is Tianzifang; hovering along 'New Heaven on Earth' at Xintiandi; and finally staring down the void from the top of the Jinmao Tower.

Employing trippy visual effects (which appear to warp the very fabric of space and time) and following the perspective of this curious guide, viewers uncovers the vibrant alleyways and hidden cultural gems scattered throughout the city.

While we needed little reminder of Shanghai's abundant beauty, this is perhaps the inspiration many need to escape the dizzying subway carriages and explore Shanghai on foot.
