30 Mpixels NOW for mFTs.

I have looked into this

Low light performance of the latest mFT sensors

Now, that is shadownoise and it seems mFTs at ISO6400 does pretty well. Also, the 1"sensor is just over a stop behind. The 1"translates into a 39 MPixel mFt sensor so...

Now, why would I want this?

1) I think we need a true allrounder in the 600-1000 dollar segment
2) 16 Mpixel is becoming so 2011....When all competitors are at/over 24 MPixels it matters!
3) It opens up some very nice advantages for those who are not easily affected by marketing talk too.

I would like to see a G8/GX8/EM6 with these specs.

- 30 MPixel mFT sensor with ISO6400 close or a bit behind current sensortech
- 4K video may be with some cropping.
- 10 FPS With AF-c, 50 pic RAW buffer
- Body and controls a la G6, GX7 or EM10
- GH4 EVF and screen

Good for marketing which is needed, good for anyone that appreciates good light detail (landscape, architecture, portrait etc). Without the restriction of the High Res mode yet get somwhat close to its resolution. Also nice for cropping while maintaining good detail!

The latest 20 Mpixel SOny sensor or latest Panny sensor with similar MPixel count could be reserved for the high end offering incredible video, still IQ and frame rates.

Finally the EPl5/GM5 could still keep the 16Mpixel (or new Somy 16Mpixel) sensor so we have good diversification that makes sense...
