Kansas State Historical Records Advisory Board
The Kansas State Historical Records Advisory Board (KSHRAB) is a central advisory body for historical records planning and preservation. It oversees projects that support historical records programs in Kansas. It reviews grant applications from the state to the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC). TRAVEL GRANTS TO MAC ANNUAL MEETING AVAILABLE
Are you an "accidental archivist," somebody who works with historical records but who has had limited opportunities for professional training in this area? The Midwest Archives Conference (MAC) is holding their annual meeting in Kansas City April 24-26 this year. KSHRAB is sponsoring a limited number of scholarships to this event. Please see this flyer for more information and fill out an application if interested. Deadline to apply is March 12. UPDATE: Nine applications were submitted and 4 people were selected to receive these travel grants.
