At New Orleans Cooking Experience, you will learn to cook authentic Louisiana cajun and creole cuisine in focused, spirited classes in our residential-style kitchen. Our cooking school offers small luxury half-day cooking classes, series classes and weekend getaway cooking vacations. Our classes celebrate the traditional Creole and Cajun cooking of Louisiana, featuring traditional and historic recipes taught by our family of well-known chefs.
Classes from $165 per person.
Our classes include personalized instruction, unlimited wine service, complete recipe packets, a tour of the house and dining. Following your cooking class you will enjoy a seated, served dinner party style meal in our charming private dining room. Our price covers everything, including taxes and gratuities.

The New Orleans Cooking Experience is a unique cooking school that embraces the “laissez faire” spirit of New Orleans. Like the city itself, each cooking class offers guests an experience that is relaxed yet sophisticated, grand, yet intimate. Our cooking school is set in a historic, 19th Century Victorian mansion and our kitchen surrounds the chef, giving every guest an up-close view … and smell!
New Orleans Cooking Experience offers both lunch and dinner classes and a compelling roster of programs including small, luxury classes and cooking vacation packages. We are also available 7 days a week for private parties, meetings and catered celebrations. At the New Orleans Cooking Experience, we vary our menus and enlist a who’s who of local chefs so that each and every class is an extraordinary culinary event.
