The Walkmen's Hamilton Leithauser Releases "11 O'Clock Friday Night" Video, Updates Tour, Pushes Back Album

The Walkmen's Hamilton Leithauser has moved back the release date of his upcoming solo record, Black Hours. Now, it'll be out on June 3 instead of May 6, via Ribbon Music. In addition, he's adjusted his touring schedule, postponing some dates and adding others, some of which are in support of Ray LaMontagne.

Sharon Van Etten will follow up 2012's Tramp with Are We There on May 27 in the U.S. and May 26 in the UK (via Jagjaguwar). Today, she's shared a video for her recent single "Taking Chances", directed by Michael Palmieri. The clip has a mystical, beatnik vibe to it, and finds Van Etten clad in a black turtleneck, doing tarot and palm readings. It was inspired by the Agnès Varda film Cleo From 5 to 7. During Arcade Fire's set at Lollapalooza Argentina, the band's set was briefly interrupted when Win Butler noticed that someone else was wearing his giant bobblehead mask. "What the fuck is this?" Turns out, it was the Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas. Watch the reveal at the 1:29 mark (via CoS).

Skrillex's new album Recess features a track called "Ragga Bomb", which features vocals from the Ragga Twins. And now, that track has a predictably wild new video with tons of dancing, dudes riding around on carts, and lightsaber fights. It's directed by Terence Neale and was filmed in South Africa.

The Flaming Lips: "Flaming Side of the Moon" (via SoundCloud)
On Sunday, the Flaming Lips released Flaming Side of the Moon, which they billed as a companion album to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Now, it seems to have been an early April Fools' Day joke, or prank, or something, produced in conjunction with Funny Or Die. The Soundcloud stream does in fact loosely sync up with Dark Side of the Moon, which means that the release makes at least as much sense as any one of the Flaming Lips' endless string of wacky stunts. But this one comes with a meta concept.

To celebrate their new album Here and Nowhere Else, Cloud Nothings have shared a video for its epic closing track, "I'm Not Part of Me", directed by Ryan Manning. It's centered on a slumber party where a group of teen girls paint their nails, read magazines, and take selfies.

Mapei Shares "Don't Wait" Video, Releases EP With Chance the Rapper Remix

Stockholm-based singer Mapei has shared the video for "Don't Wait", directed by Dori Oskowitz, in which she adventures around town with a lover before ending up at a house party. She's also released the Don't Wait EP, which features the title track along with remixes from Chance the Rapper, Benny Blanco, Kingdom, and Giraffage, as well as an acoustic version.
