Montgomery, Ala. (WSFA) -- The Capital City now has a sister city, in Italy. Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange signed paperwork on the deal with Pietrasanta, Italy's mayor, Massimo Mallengni on Wednesday.
The event is part of the state Council on the Art's partnership with the city to bring sculptors, musicians, dancers, and exhibits to Alabama.
The Italian delegation will be in Alabama through Saturday and will included a stop at Montgomery's Flimp Festival.
