It took over a month to get a response from the loans manager after our face to face interview to change a mortgage from fixed interest to variable, and only after chasing them with phone calls and emails. It turned out they had forgotten about us. We're still waiting to have the matter finalised, as their "break out fee" is exorbitant and keeps changing. Then we discovered anomalies in our savings accounts, where money had been debited earlier than scheduled by NPBS without our authority. When challenged about this, we received no reply and no follow up from them. We're still waiting for an explanation from the building society, 6 weeks on. I cannot recommend them!
