Four hurt as gunfire hits US military plane sent to evacuate Americans from South Sudan

Conflict with rebel forces in Sudan escalates as a U.S. aircrafts trying to evacuate American civilians are attacked. NBC's Ron Allen reports.

Four U.S. military personnel were injured early Saturday when a plane being sent to help evacuate Americans from strife-torn South Sudan was struck by gunfire.

The Osprey CV-22 was damaged while approaching the city of Bor. The mission was aborted and the aircraft diverted to Entebbe, Uganda, a military official told NBC News. The injured servicemen were later taken to a hospital in Nairobi, Kenya, where they were in stable condition Saturday. None of their wounds was considered life-threatening.

The shooting came two days after three U.N. peacekeepers were killed in South Sudan. The Indian soldiers are among 500 people killed and 800 wounded in South Sudan since Sunday night, when gunbattles erupted between army factions loyal to the country's president and his former vice president, who are members of different tribes. The conflict has deepened divisions in the two-year-old nation.

South Sudan's military spokesman, Col. Philip Aguer, told The Associated Press that government troops were not in control of Bor, so the attack on the U.S. aircraft has to be blamed on renegade soldiers.

South Sudan President Salva Kiir, an ethnic Dinka, said this week that an attempted coup triggered the violence now pulsing through the country. He blamed the former vice president, Riek Machar, an ethnic Nuer.

Some analysts fear the violence may descend into the kind of ethnic bloodbath not seen since Rwanda in the 1990s.

Roughly 34,000 people have sought refuge in U.N. camps, and the U.S. and other countries are evacuating non-essential embassy staff and citizens.

Earlier this week, President Barack Obama said in a letter to Congress that 45 military personnel had been dispatched to South Sudan on Wednesday to protect U.S. citizens and property.

In a statement released Friday, Secretary of State John Kerry said that the international community was "laser-focused on the deeply alarming violence in South Sudan."

Kerry added: "Now is the time for South Sudan's leaders to rein in armed groups under their control, immediately cease attacks on civilians, and end the chain of retributive violence between different ethnic and political groups. The violence must stop, the dialogue must intensify."

The Associated Press and NBC News' Henry Austin contributed to this report.

With Muslim majority Sudan and many Muslims in Christian S. Sudan, one expect lots of these troubles.

Peace will be illusive as long as the followers of Islamic cult form more than five percent in a street, place and nation.

Due to highly barbaric bigoted oil rich Sunni rulers led by House of Saud and other Sunni Arab League nations and Pakistan, many followers of Islamic cult are fast marching backwards to their seventh century hating and killing days.

Look at Nigeria, S. Sudan and many non-Muslim nations including US (hardly two percent), Britain, France and other long list of non-Muslim nations.

Many, especially Sunnis, have become so intolerant that they can't tolerate their own Muslims due to differences in sect, tribe or region and they are killing their own Muslims in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Mali, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

You're so right when you refer to Islam as a cult. That's all it is. Same old story; those in power against those who want power. The Mullahs use the average Joe to do their bidding in the "nutsery" of Islam. All in the name of a false prophet.

Ghengis Khan was right when the Muslims tried terrorism and hostage taking on him. He simply started going from village to village destroying everything until it stopped. That's the only way this Islamic induced war will end. Sad but true- annihilation is the only thing they will comprehend.

Mary J, they have been killing each other as well as outsiders or as they like to say, infidels, for as long as they have been around. Pure trash as people, and yes, I work with them on a daily basis. Every one of them thinks that what they do and say is more important than anyone else, even their own kind. We should pull out our forces and destroy what is left behind, kinda like removing cancer.

Well, the bill is on President Obama's desk just waiting for him to sign it that will cut pay and benefits to US military and cut their retirement pay - What A-holes we have running our government! They can care less how many soldiers die or are injured. They'll make cuts to everyone, even steal the toast off a grandmother's plate or take a bottle of milk right out of an infant's mouth just so they don't have to make cuts to their own pay and benefits or cut programs that pay the wealthy.

This is "sectarian violence," as is presently going on in a lot of the middle east and Africa, as well as elsewhere, just with different sects, clans, tribes. Man, woman, nor child is immune to it, when the sect leader demands some kind of retaliation against some slight, real, or imagined.

The "sect" leader, in this case, just happens to be the elected president of that country, and the duly elected vice president is of another sect, clan, tribe. Until that nation, as a whole, gets out of their sectarian mindset, and does something about it, nothing is going to change, regardless of who is in charge.

The same applies to all countries involved in this kind of terrorism against its own people. A despotic ruler is not the answer, but it is up to THEM, the population of that nation, to resolve their issues, for the betterment of the ENTIRE nation, not just one sect, political group, or whomever.

No one's pay is going to be reduced, and no one's retirement pay is going to be cut. Any changes will be to future enlistees/retirees. Military retirement pay is on an unsustainable course and will at some point personnel costs will eat up more than 60% of the military budget.

Frosty, those nations in Africa are completely artificial, with their borders having been drawn by the European colonial powers. The same pretty much applies to parts of the Middle East as well. Iraq and Kuwait, for example.

Under our present ruler I see divisions developing in our country! and they are being exploited, nourished and even encouraged, its only a matter of time till we are at each others throats, we have our own problems and I think we should focus on them before we attempt to fix someone else's problems, both wings the left and the right are emerged in hate for each other, each wing blames the other for their problems just like the Africans do its always the other guys fault, those of us stuck in the middle no longer have a say in how our country is run its all about the wing nuts. one wing is even using mind control and manipulating our youth, while the other is stuck in their greed and can't see the economic flaws. neither has moral fiber, and they both want it all. it sucks being in the middle with no place to go. cannibals on the left, head hunters on the right. Phuck Africa we have a problem at home to fix. we did not have these problems a few years ago. but then we were not as progressive then. or as greedy.

Righteous, agreed, and the same can be said of us. After all, wasn't this country settled by different groups of Europeans, (and before you say it, there is some dispute in academia as to whether what we now call the "Native American" population is actually one group of Asiatic migrants, or Slavic fishermen, or a combination of both.)

Those African nations, whatever their original makeup, are just as legitimate as any country in the world. After all, every nation is comprised of its geography, and it's people, inside imaginary, sometimes, borders.

We, as a world population, are all descended from emigrants, immigrants, whatever, as the population of the entire globe has not really been static. (Do you study genealogy? Might get some interesting perspectives.)

In this particular instance, there is one duly elected leader, fighting against his second in command, also duly elected, and their two tribes/clans/sects are fighting each other for dominance. Problem is, so many outsiders are trying to get involved to effect the outcome of this "civil" war, to their perceived benefits and beliefs.

These people set their own boundaries/borders. We, and the Europeans, had nothing to do with the way they are established now.

You need to check your facts. I'm retired and VA. as the law stands now they will cut 1% per year from our COLA starting in 2015. Might not sound like much to you but when the cola for this year was 1.7 and next year will be 1.5 you take 1% per year that is a big hit... a 21% hit. time I reach 60. Please give a reference for the military retirement pay being unsustainable.

@ some sanity please - I agree that it does seem odd that 1 or 3, planes or helicopters, were sent to S. Sudan for ONE US Citizen - that is if you read the German news from Der Speigel.

That article says that four American soldiers were hurt in S. Sudan. According to CNN ONE airplane was shot at, according to AFP news there were 3 helicopters, one helicopter was hit in its fuel tank but manged to land safely.

So CNN and AFP have completely different stories on how many and what type of "machine(s)" was flying in Sudan? Sketchy...

AFP news said three helicopters were deployed in the rebel controlled city of Bor to "evacuate ONE US CITIZEN."

The mission was aborted (by the Pentagon), the US citizen was not rescued when the helicopters came under fire, the helicopters returned to their station in Uganda.

The injured soldiers are being treated in Kenya with non-life threatening injuries. The German article talks about US soldiers who were hurt on the ground, not in a helicopter or plane.... the 3 helicopters (or one plane) were to evacuate ONE US CITIZEN .....

A US Citizen in Sudan, could it be because Sudan has "oil rich deposits?" (Quote from Der Spiegel)

Right on. I was involved in a hostage extrication years ago, and it was the same self-centered mentality from certain people back home: why should any Americans caught in a place where the politics went south be rescued? Of course, it would be different if they were vacationing in Cancun and some drug cartel group kidnapped them for leverage in some negotiations with the Mexican government, huh?

As for the Sudan today: ""Now is the time for South Sudan's leaders to rein in armed groups..."--actually, it sounds like it's time for the sneaky-sh!t units to go in and kill a bunch of cockroaches, and bring our people home.

Jonathan, knowing so much about the Muslims, I wonder if you know about the 10,600 registered religions just in NY state, and how they through the ages have been battling between each other (for position) (especially in Europe) and killing millions, the best thing we can do is to stay out of it, or stop being so critical and sarcastic about others with that many religions in USA (many for tax write off reasons of course), I can remember just a few decades ago many here were not too tolerant about catholic's right here in NY, unless off course they were Irish Police officers!--Never mind Kennedy!

I was wondering why the US is/has been bombing Sudan via drones, I think I have my answer with Der Spiegel's "the impoverished nation, despite its oil rich deposits....."

It was discovered that the task force "led by Vice President Dick Cheney was examining maps of Iraq's oil assets in March 2001, two years before the United States led an invasion to oust Saddam Hussein."

"Bush's Cabinet agreed in April 2001 that 'Iraq remains a destabilising influence to the flow of oil to international markets from the Middle East' and because this is an unacceptable risk to the US 'military intervention' is necessary." [5]

When you put in place utter incompetence, and Bush was little better, you cannot expect intelligent leadership. I don't care why we have civilians in Sudan, they knew it was very dangerous for them when they went there. Unless they are embassy staff there is no reason to risk the life of any military personnel in any attempt to rescue any of them. In reality most of these countries are so filled with hate for us, that I think we should close our embassies & remove them to the country of a proven friendly allie. There is no reason to risk our embassy people in these countries today. If someone from one of these countries needs to speak to our ambassador or other personnel, let them come to us in a place were we will bear no risk. As for our people who simply wish to go there as tourists, or to enlighten their people, you should get no help. You knew you were putting your lives at risk when you left. Deal with it.

Good question, so I went back to Der Spiegel (DS) - it seems this fighting broke out last week. According to another DS article, the 45 soldiers arrived on Wednesday and were split up. Some were protecting "US citizens," and others the US Embassy in S. Sudan. According to Der Spiegel, the President did NOT write the letter to Congress, but rather the "top" people in Congress, I'm assuming that means the majority leaders in both the House and Senate.

It is interesting to note, that the US President stated that the Embassy personnel "should stay there as long as necessary."

BK&SC, you have a valid point. Isn't it interesting how many varied stories are coming out of this? A wise man once told me, "Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see." In this case, it is all "Hearsay," as I'm not the one personally making the observations. And ALL journalists have biased views, based on their own upbringing and education. (The same can be said of everybody, you and I included.)

What really interests me is the fact that U.S. Marine aircraft, the Osprey, was not armed. Usually, they have at least one, more often more, "Ma Deuce" .50 caliber machine guns, for self preservation in just such instances.

As far as Americans being there, there is a diplomatic mission there, and maybe, some of our political leaders didn't want a repeat of the fatal Benghazzi farce.

@2FAST4U1701 - I am very familiar with James Zogby and papers from Zogby International, as well as Democracy Now (as viewed on LinkTV with Amy Goodman). I have much respect for both as well.

I have bookmarked the uTube lecture and will listen to it. Going into the past history is very important, as you pointed out. Colonialism, be it British, French, etc., certainly took its toll on the continent as borders were drawn up with little to no respect for the indigenous people.

Going back further in time, you find that Egypt and Ethiopia (each still retaining a Pope - unrelated to the Vatican or Rome) were once nearly 100% Christian. The Coptic Christians of Egypt date to the first century, with St. Mark, and under the rule of the Roman Emperor Nero. Ethiopia has an even older Christian establishment, possibly being the first nation, in the world, to have Christianity be the national religion.

Today, Ethiopia has regions that are 90%+ Christian (Addis Ababa) and other regions that are 90%+ Muslim (Afar) - Ethiopia seems to have less fighting. The Copts of Egypt are not so lucky (10% of Egypt is Coptic with many living in the upper Nile area of Assuit), not because of Islam but Islamists - there is a huge difference between the two and their agenda, that is why I hate to point a finger at another religion because had it not been for colonial destabilization (granted many years ago), the religion of Islam and Christianity had a better chance for mutual respect. At times, they did live side by side without conflict - you see today, especially in Egypt, how Western meddling has opened the gates for fanatics on both sides, but at this time fanatical IslamiSTs (not IslamiCs).

I will listen to the rest of the video, I did catch the part that brought up Iran, and that would certainly get the attention of the US and other Western governments (not just oil and fertile soil)...

I thank you for your links and will certainly read them with an open mind. Now if only Amy Goodman and Democracy Now could replace NBC and the other US "news" channels! :) - that would be a dream come true! (no sarc., I mean that sincerely).

Military retirement pay is on an unsustainable course and will at some point personnel costs will eat up more than 60% of the military budget.

Personnel should always be the biggest expense. Wars are expensive but why should the MIC be getting the majority of the money when few of them are putting their lives on the line? As long as politicians want to fight wars, it is going to take people being in the line of fire regardless of the toys invented. Stop all of the wars of choice and our military expenses will drop. You don't cut your most precious resource first.

both wings the left and the right are emerged in hate for each other, each wing blames the other for their problems just like the Africans do

Our country has the same hatred between the left and right as is seen in Africa, the ME, and most other countries. The only difference so far is in the level of violence. The levels of hatred are close to the same though. The dems hate the reps and the reps hate the dems, the cons hate the libs and the libs hate the cons, and then throw in the tea party which hates them both. Mix in the religious zealots and you have a potent mix for the same violence in this country as is seen elsewhere in the world.

Lead with a couple of Apaches, clear the area of any resistance, do the evacuation then leave. Don't know if the Apache has the mini-gun but I do know it covers a wide swath and is deadly.

Unless you are ready to go in with a large ground force, you do NOT commit an act of war against another country like you propose. Diplomacy is slow, frustrating, aggravating, etc., but is far better than committing our troops to more wars because of a lack of patience.

Best thing to do is get the people out we need to get out and do not worry about hurting anyone's feelings in the process. forget those CV-22's. Use the HH-53's escorted by AH-1 Cobras. they want to shoo at you shoot back. One or two hellfire missiles or a burst from mini-guns would probably make them think about shooting at those choppers.

Black Kettle & Sand Creek...lest we forget,

Thanks Black Kettle and we are pretty well versed on Egypt (as drjill can attest) though the Copt's numbers vary depending on the source including their own. You may enjoy this link we couldn't attend their open house this year because of scheduling problems. If they were not over an hour away from where I live we would visit and even attend their church often as they are really wonderful people (the food is MONEY) . For the record so are the local members at the Indian Sikh Temple and their food rocks too :) and were a joy to meet and spend a bit of time with.

      http://www.stmarkcoccleveland.org/

P.S. Also well versed on Iran as 2 people that we adopted into our family had almost their entire families wiped out after the Shah fell. Syria as well since we sat down and listened to some local Syrian Christians that also introduced us to their Liberal Muslim Syrian friends (Note other than Secular Liberal meaning is much different in other countries than here as most from the region tend to vote Conservative when they come here. Kinda like in Germany Liberals are more like our Conservatives here.)

Plus we have gotten to know some Tajiks and Hazara thanks to my younger brother.

We just prefer to sit down in person where family that are either current or former Military, Law Enforcement, Business and even a practicing Psychologist can vet them out. It is much harder do do on the internet as the only method I really trust in that scenario is treating it like the Heizenberg Uncertainty Principle. Besides it also is about building bridges and mending broken ones.

All over the world, where Muslims form more than five percent in a street, place and nation, they start their hating, stealing, looting, raping, kidnapping and killings.

As Muslims are fast marching backwards instead of reforming with times, we have to focus on the biggest threats to a steet, place, nation, and world for some sanity and peace in the world.

@2FAST4U1701 - we seem to have very similar friends and from the same countries! I do think of drjill and hope that she is OK, as the situation in Egypt has declined. If you read through my past political posts you will find that I am very open to diversity and diplomacy, not propaganda and bombs. My boss is from Iran and Muslim (moderate), I love him, he reminds me of German friends, very punctual, no BS, etc. My husband is foreign, as are all my closest friends (Syria, Ethiopia, Egypt, France, Holland, etc.) When in Brooklyn, I have many debates with a wonderful Orthodox Rabbi (from Israel but in the US for now). Respect goes a long way, as does listening & talking with these friends. I travel abroad, have lived abroad but not in Iran or Ethiopia - so I have learned many things from my friends. Soon, I will go to Ethiopia, my "brother" is getting married and I cannot wait - I will be an Aunt (I am one already, but it is a fun job) to their child as we have determined that we are, and consider our friendship that of a brother & sister, a bond that will not be broken and has been in place for years.

Have a wonderful day and if you hear from drjill, I wish her well! Please post that she is OK if you have that information, I certainly wish her the best!

@Jonathan - your hate grows daily, unsurprisingly. You stated:

All over the world, where Muslims form more than five percent in a street, place and nation, they start their hating, stealing, looting, raping, kidnapping and killings.

I would REALLY like to see a reputable source for your 5% vitriol. Have you ever even been on a "street" with 5% Muslim people around you? As far as hate goes, you dish out plenty - people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. People who CHOSE to remain ignorant should refrain from making nonsense statements such as the one above.

You are correct. The biggest problem in a Muslim countries is that Tribalism trumps Nationalism.

Almost every nation state in the Middle East is a mixture of warring tribes, fenced in by a geopolitical boundary that was created when the Ottoman Empire fell. Now it happens in African Muslim states. South Sudan spun off and 2 tribes within that new geopolitical boundary are at war.

Note to Americans looking for adventure. Stay away from unstable Muslim countries.

You make a good point that we in the US have become blind followers of our "party"' but of course it hasn't lead to genocide or civil war. Only gridlock in both houses of Congress and a constant barrage of criticism thrown at whichever party owns the White House. The divisiveness that has exploded here could lead to violence, but I believe(hope) it does not.

What I have been wondering is if our votes are being counted, or are they just telling us who won in the offices that really matter? It seem illogical that so many of them can do so little to nothing for this country and get richer and richer and more uncaring towards we the people and still get re-elected over and over like they do?

If this is the case then the military stepping away from them is the only way it will be changed? Any people led (unless entire states are involved) will just be slaughtered by the military?

One thing we can all be glad of is that obama didn't get his own personal military started when he was elected! AND now there is talk of him becoming our first dictator? for life? SICKENING! Some people really need to be deported!

To jog all your memories AGAIN? Remember BUILD A BERG meetings? For you youngsters who may not have known these were meetings held by billy clinton and other US politicians prior and present at the time and some UN leaders and the entire subject matter of the meetings was TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP THINGS GOING THE WAY WE WANT IT! billy is a democrat? Check out Mali as one of the things that ticks their brand of Muslims off is the fact that they want to take away even their music and dance traditions. Wahhabi Fundamentalists don't like music with a beat and other parts of Mali or Western music.

Sweaver, accordin to the King James Version, it is very clear the Temple has to be rebuilt first. Thusly that's the only reason I can figure out our US policy of destabilizing the ME and supportin every murderous thug, Sunni or Shia state, in the region against Israel and Christians. Iran will nuke Israel or the Sunnis will bum rush them. Result 6 million dead Jews.

Israel retaliates with the Sampson Option, 6 extremely quite diesel subs, 3 on patrol at ALL times that are nuclear weapons equipped. Who knows how many missiles and fighters armed for one way missions hidden in the mountains. They blow the Aswan dam and nuke the ME and add 66 million plus dead Muslims.

The NWO (Illuminate/FreeMasons/Jesuits/Zionist/Satanist/CFR/Trilaterals/Rothschilds/Rockefellers/BANKSTERS/Whatevertehy are) move in and make Jerusalem the head of world gov, finance and rebuild da Temple.

Da Beast rules for 42 months until Jesus Christ returns accompanied by ALL those who were BEHEADED for refusing to renounce Christ and refusing the mark of da beast on their hand or forehead. Remember, you will be able to neither buy nor sell without da mark of da beast! Sound familiar?

Wouldn't it be funny if da HildeBeast became President in 2016? LOL!

As for President Obama, if he does pull off a major "Reichstag/false flag" and becomes the Dear Leader in perpetuity, maybe he could become da Mahdi. He sure has the Master of Deceit down pat. That boy can LIE with da best of em. However, I doubt he will be da man. But he does fill out some Shia predictions.

I read somewhere that he did once use a SSN for someone who supposedly died from a head wound back in the 1980s. I have never researched that yet though. That would fit one prophesy that the beast would have a major head wound, die but not stay dead.

So basically,Swearer, I'm just a sorry excuse of a backslidin Christian WantaBe who died twice and was surrounded by the Egyptian guardians of da dead. No shinin light for me to go to.

So I can only say nothing makes sense unless the powers to be are trying to purposefully destroy this nation to create their Global NWO.

Peace out BRO, and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, AND never renounce him!

No one knows the time, not even the Son, only the Father!

So mac? Do I get you right, you actually beleive what was written in the bible was gods words and desired deeds? For YOU I hope you are right and get the same treatment as most of the people under the leaders of those times?

For me? I hope to keep an open enough mind that IF GOD CARES more than depicted in that HISTORY book I may have a chance at a better life! Remember MOSES and all his generation was not good enough to see the promised land WHY? Yet so many revire this book to the extent that they may well be so screwed up that god may not even want them near him?

Learn carefully, and think think think before letting ANYTHING become belief!

Lastly, ever read about a solemn oath? What makes you think god is going to break it? The end of times will be the planet lighting up like a bricket after all is dead and the water has boiled off to go out finally leaving a clinker? Hopefully I will be one that gets pulled up out of it, but I have aleady made it clear to god if I have to go through it I WILL!

Washington, I believe the Bible is man's interpolation of G-ds words/plan. I do know that modern WESTERN civilization is completely based on Guttenberg printin the Bible in languages that the people could understand. Thusly havin people strivin to live as much as sinners can humanly possible a life based on Christ's teachin.

I do know when atheist take control of government, they lie cheat and steal, the ends justify the means. They break millions of eggs to create their sh!t omelet. As our Dear Leader's Bill Aires stated, 25 million Americans CAN NOT be reeducated. You know what that means!

Out of my 60 years of livin, my last 37 have been lived relatively good. However, If I followed the Bible I'd have plucked my eyes out, cut off my tongue and sit to pee. I am in control of my actions, thoughts sometimes are still impure.

I always believe in Live Well, Die Well. Spent 42 years in the Army, 35 in combat units. Faced death numerous times and fear not. If I die now, I hope to be embraced by Jesus and be afforded the ability to praise G-d throughout eternity. It is possible I will be judged unworthy and will suffer hell and damnation throughout eternity. So be it. I did my best and am willin to receive my just rewards or punishment.

If I become just worm food, then I know I did my best to make the infinitesimal part of the universe I touched just a tad better.

I do KNOW that there is EVIL and Good in this world. Much of the ELITES embrace evil. The destruction of the family, removing G-d from our society is practically a religion unto itself with these people. It's ALL Satan's work as far as I'm concerned.

        Peace Out!

Why pull them out? We didn't put them in there, they went because they wanted to go there. Let them get themselves out. They aren't worth the cost of sending planes to help them, nor worth any of our military people getting hurt to help them.

Just completely stay the hell away from those countries. No aid, no military, etc. If Americans live there, then they can get themselves out if they have to. Quit wasting my taxpayers on those corporate people anyway.

Sally, I see you LWNJs waste no opportunity to bash corporations. So exactly what is it that scrambles you people's brains?

Corporations employ individuals, while providing essential goods and services. Corporations are also owned by individual stockholders, including many retired teachers, police, and firemen, through their pension plans. Why do you hate individuals? Why do you hate retired teachers, police, firemen, and other individuals? WHY?

"TR" Rose II I realize you may not know it but there is a liberal socialist as president who also happens to be the commander in chief who is in charge of the military so where do the republicans come into this? Also you may want to check the capitalists who go to the $40,000 a plate dinners for buckwheat, they are your silicon valley liberals and the bankers, Gerge Soros, etc. You calling them Republicans? I also do not want our military out fighting these stupid wars but lets put the blame where it belongs not get caught up in personal hatreds that mask reality. By the way it is 2013, December, 21 in case you didn't know which would not surprise me after reading your post.

@calnomad, BS, he can't be a liberal socialist, or a commie. Too many of your RWNJ's have already proclaimed he is a Muslim, and a Muslim is never a commie or a liberal or a socialist. They are pure Muslim, through and through. Everyone, except the RWNJ's know this. How come you people don't?

How much does the CEO's, and the Koch Brothers and bankers dish out to the republicons dinners? More than $40,000. So your point is...WHAT? We never heard you complaining about those two stupid wars GW Bush started. But once a D got elected, you got your wedgies going, didn't you?

And nothing surprises people from the comments some of the RWNJ's post. And yet you have the balls to claim to be Christians. Read the comments about Senator Reid from the RWNJ's. You have proved to the world you are FAKE Christians.

Wow, I see that Sally Ann has some company in the nutjob parade, with tired and maze joining in. They are shining examples of what our government schools have been producing in recent decades.

Sally Ann, you said "and a Muslim is never a commie or a liberal or a socialist." Well, I'm here to tell you that the opposite is true. One example was President Sukarno of Indonesia. He was the communist-leaning dictator of that nation for quite a number of years until he was ousted by Suharto, probably in a military coup. The leader of Egypt who ousted King Farouk in a coup was quite cozy with the communists. Various other Muslim potentates were in the same category during the cold war. Really, learn a little bit before spouting off.

After all, there are no white people there running the show so they should be able to rap with the brothers and bring peace. Aw, wait, bad idea. There will be no TV cameras or whites to blame so they will not go as they are needed here to suck more money out the the treasury for the brothers and sisters here.

That way the party in control can say "We didn't outlaw guns"! But we know who you are and were coming for your ammunition!! Sorry about breaking down your door. And that will be from both the Government and the Outlaws who never registered their guns!!! Illegal is illegal!! The government will give you a bill and you will be taxed for what you had, and the Outlaws will just kill you!!! I say smaller government.

@nasc10, and how is that going to be paid for? And using a nuke, do you want WW3 to start. Or, like most of the arm chair generals of the YELLOW ELEPHANTS, you never thought about that, right? All hat, no cattle!

Well, the bill is on President Obama's desk just waiting for him to sign it that will cut pay and benefits to US military and cut their retirement pay - What A-holes we have running our government! They can care less how many soldiers die or are injured.

Not to worry. President Obama will contact South Sudan President Salva Kiir and draw a line in the sand.

The difference between you and us is that we respect all cultures and we detest people of your ilk. If you don't like it here, get on a f-ing boat and go back east a$$hole. Oh and another thing, go fvck yourself.

I think the problems in Africa stem from the mistreatment of blacks in the southern US. Oh wait, That's the problem with Detroit instead, or was it Chicago? No matter, the solution is to take money from working Americans and give it to them all.... That'll teach them.

As new as it is it probably does have a good combat record. No time in combat equals no combat loses. that is the way the government would figure it.

They also seem to have no problem with countries who are NOW still supportin underground/some above ground slavery and whose religion and present day Inmans still support. LOL!

Remember one thing, it was the African tribes capturing and selling their own people into slavery. So we shouldn.t start the blame with early americans. Lets call a spade a spade. And as Obama being the first black man elected president?????????????? What kinda drugs are people on? He's as black as Bill Clinton. Yep those politicians sure take care of themselves and those fools who support these clowns............. well you know what you get. LMAO

These tribes have been killing each other for thousands of years and will keep killing each other for as long as they continue to exist. The only time they stop fighting is to fight a common enemy. Best thing we can do is get our people out of the way before we become the common enemy.
