Rihanna Scores 10 Billboard Music Awards Nominations
Rihanna continues to dominate the charts and awards shows. The pop princess has received 10 nominations at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards.
The “Diamonds” singer will compete in 10 categories this year, including Top Artist and Top Radio Songs Artist, it was announced today.
She also becomes the first artist in the 20-year history of Billboard’s Nielsen BDS-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart to land 10 No. 1s, as “Stay” rises 2-1.
“I owe this to my fans and to Billboard! Thank you for the love! It’s pretty major!” tweeted RiRi.
Taylor Swift, fun., and Maroon 5 lead the finalists for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards with 11 categories this year.
Nicki Minaj was named in 7 categories including Top Female Artist and Top Rap Artist.
“So grateful & honored to receive 7 billboard awards nominations… Thank u Billboard & Thank u to everyone who supported in the past year XO,” said the “American Idol” judge.
Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, and Miguel will perform live at the awards, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 19, at 8/7c on ABC.

I only hope Chris doesnt go as Rihanna’s little lap dog, he obviously didnt have a great year like some of these mainstream artists…he should focus on promoting his upcoming album, he could use the Today Show, Dancing with the stars, Jimmy kimmel, David letterman.
These awards need him more then he needs them, at least I can understand why he has 1 nomination but it doesnt mean he should go for stupid ratings.
I did not watch AMA,MTV VMA last year and seeing his line up I will pass this year too…its encouraging knowing the VMA’s had 2-3 million viewers more then 50% decrease :)
