Step into the Grow Zone
'Grow', one of four new zones at this year's show, is the place for magnificent plant displays, advice and tempting sundries.

This year, we’re introducing four distinctive 'zones' to the show, each with its own special atmosphere and flavour:
One of the new zones is Grow, the floral heart of the show. This is your chance to see magnificent displays of rare and familiar plants, pick the brains of leading nurserymen and RHS experts, and buy fabulous plants and practical tools.
What will I find in Grow?
The Floral Marquee will be home to 86 nurseries from around the UK who will be displaying and selling their award winning plants. As well as hunting for new and unusual plants for your garden, why not also take advantage of the new RHS Potting Bench demonstrations, taking place throughout the show. These informal and informative talks are a great way to pick up useful gardening tips and chat to the nursery experts.
Some Floral Marquee highlights:
• T3 Plants will be exhibiting a new American variety of Abutilon ‘Fool's Gold’
• Eversley Nursery will be exhibiting Carex grayi
• Brownthwaite Hardy Plants will be exhibiting Hydrangea serrata 'Beni-temari'
• Bluebell Cottage Nursery will be exhibiting a new Persicaria amplexicaulis
The new look Plant Village sees around 17 nurseries creating beautiful outdoor displays in a relaxed shopping environment. Get inspiration from the displays, rummage for plants and talk to the nursery owners to pick their expert brains!
Guaranteed to put a smile on your face, the RHS National Flowerbed Competition showcases the horticultural skills and creativity of local authorities and community groups. This year we have everything from a celebration of Birmingham’s canals to the story of how a pit boy became the fourth Prime Minister of Australia. Be certain to bring your camera!
Hosted by the wonderful Matthew Biggs the Grow Talks Theatre is the place to go for all gardeners to get inspiration and practical advice. A lively programme of talks and demonstrations will take place throughout the week, featuring various expert speakers. Check back soon for a full programme of talks.
In the National Plant Societies & Plant Heritage Marquee, come and meet dedicated experts from specialist plant societies, and learn about their passion for their particular plant genus.
Another highlight is the Winsford Education Partnership & Friends School Gardens, supported by Barclays. The theme of the gardens this year has been inspired by the Horrible Histories and Horrible Science children’s books with 22 primary schools and six high schools from the North West creating small gardens.
