Amanda Bynes Takes Cab After Car Is Impounded

Amanda Bynes opted for some retail therapy Monday, going shopping in West Hollywood.
Wearing a white dress, black leather jacket, high heels and bright red lipstick, the actress, 26, stopped into Kin, a boutique. Bynes is featured as part of their "Shop by Celebrity" section on the boutique's website.
After a two hour shopping spree (most of which she spent barricaded inside a dressing room, according to a TMZ report), she emerged from the store and got into a cab.

No drama here – well, at least not yet!
Though Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj were just confirmed to be judges on American Idol's upcoming 12th season alongside Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson, the Internet is already abuzz with rumors of an on-set feud. Too many divas on the panel, perhaps?
"How can we feud in two days? I think a feud takes a little longer," Carey, who confirmed her participation on the show in July, told reporters at a press conference in New York on Monday, shooting down rumors of discord.
For her part, Minaj says she's just happy to be there, telling reporters, "It's wonderful, darling," when asked how she liked being on the show so far.
Added Jackson: "We're having fun, dude. We've been having a good time. There has been a lot of laughs."

Currently embroiled in a photo scandal (but maintaining a brave face), Kate Middleton is on the receiving end of some sympathy from an unexpected supporter: Duchess Sarah Ferguson, who once expressed hurt over her exclusion from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding guest list.
Ferguson, after all, can relate to Kate's situation. It was 20 years ago that she found herself in a similarly unwelcome spotlight, when racy pictures surfaced documenting her topless rendezvous with American businessman John Bryan.
"I have been there and know what it's like," the Duchess of York, 52, told the U.K.'s Daily Mail. "Everyone is entitled to privacy. It is a devastating invasion of one's personal inner space. It is deplorable, abhorrent and despicable."

Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter Sunday night to comment on Amanda Bynes's legal troubles.
"Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?" she Tweeted.
Minutes later, the actress, 26, followed up with: "These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night all."

Despite an ongoing photo scandal, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge forged ahead with their tour of South Asia, landing Sunday in the Solomon Islands.
As Italian magazine Chi prepares to publish 26 pages of photos of the young royals on vacation in France, where Kate was photographed topless, the couple seemed carefree as they toured the country's capital Honiara on the island of Guadalcanal.
After visiting the rainforests of Borneo, William and Kate landed at the airport, where they were gifted floral garlands and greeted by traditional warrior dancers dressed in raffia loin cloths, wielding spears, bows and musical instruments.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hanging in there.
Even as more photos of Kate sunbathing topless are published in the Irish Daily Star and news comes that Italian magazine Chi plans to follow suit, the royal couple, who expressed their anger over the publication of similar photos of Kate on Friday, are moving ahead with their tour of Southeast Asia Saturday in the rainforests of Borneo.
"Their royal highnesses are feeling upbeat, they are enjoying the tour and they will not in any way allow what has happened in France to overshadow the tour and their work on behalf of The Queen," a palace source tells PEOPLE of the couple's mood.

The battle lines are being drawn in France as a magazine editor defends the decision to publish topless photos of the Duchess of Cambridge.
"These photos are not in the least shocking," Laurence Pieau of Closer told the Agence France-Presse on Friday. "They show a young woman sunbathing topless, like the millions of women you see on beaches."
Calling the reaction to the photos "disproportionate," Pieau adds, "It is a young couple that has just been married. They are in love. They are beautiful. She is the princess of the 21st century."

As their goodwill tour of Asia continues, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are "saddened," angry and considering legal options as French magazine Closer published topless photos of Kate on Thursday.
"We certainly feel a red line's been crossed," a palace source tells PEOPLE of the photos, which were taken during William and Kate's private holiday in France. The source also said that the mood at the palace back home is "one of anger and disbelief."
News of the photos broke as William and Kate – dressed in headscarf – stepped out to visit Malaysia's largest mosque, in central Kuala Lumpur.

After an eventful start to their St. Barts vacation – which found Countess LuAnn De Lesseps the subject of morning-after infidelity rumors – the drama boiled over on Monday's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. And, naturally, there was a man involved.
Aviva Drescher has been open with the ladies about her anxiety, especially when it comes to travel. Initially, she declined to join them on their island getaway, citing her crippling fears of flying. But after some persuasion, and help from her husband Reid, who accompanied her on the journey, Aviva flew down to join the ladies. Only, some of them weren't necessarily thrilled by her impending arrival.
Worrying in advance that Reid's presence would ruin the Girls Gone Wild vibe that Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan (a.k.a. Ramonja) had cultivated thanks to their wine-swilling and topless swimming adventures, the ladies plotted. Should they rent another house for themselves? (They did go looking!) Or would Reid stay at a hotel?
