Mayim Bialik Injured in Car Accident

Blossom star Mayim Bialik was seriously injured Wednesday in a car accident in Los Angeles.
Bialik, 36, was driving in L.A. when a car with three tourists from Chile turned into her vehicle at Hollywood Boulevard and caused the crash, LAPD Sgt. Monte Houze tells PEOPLE.
"From what I was told, there was a lot of blood at the scene," says Houze.
He says Bialik suffered "a severe injury to her left thumb" and was taken to a local hospital. The tourists were not cited or detained.
But the star won't be losing a digit. On Wednesday afternoon, Bialik posted a message on Twitter saying, "(husband typing) In pain but will keep all my fingers. If u wanna see pre accident me watch The Soup tonight lol."

Scratch one person off the list of guys who Taylor Swift could be referring to in her latest tell-all song, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
Joe Jonas – who alluded to splitting from the star, 22, in a 2008 MySpace post – is adamant that the tune, which is about a couple who can't stay broken up, is not based on him.
"I don't think we've ever tried [to get back together] another time, so I can tell you it's not about me," Jonas, 23, said during an interview posted on Wednesday with Washington, D.C.'s 94.7 Fresh FM radio. "That said, I think the song is great. Taylor does pop music really well and I'm happy for her."

Though she recently said she's "taking it slow" when it comes to her love life, it seems like Jennie Garth has put some romantic plans into motion after all.
PEOPLE has learned that Garth, 40, is casually dating photographer Noah Abrams, who has shot for publications ranging from Sports Illustrated to Vanity Fair.
A close source confirms that the couple recently met through a mutual friend.
Garth, who split from husband of 11 years, actor Peter Facinelli, last March, recently told ET Canada, "A lot of people have a 'friend' that they want to set me up with, so it's kind of weird!"

Playing the role of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis is no easy task – and an impressive list of actresses have portrayed the former First Lady onscreen, including Katie Holmes in The Kennedys last year. And now a new star can add Jackie O. to her resume: Minka Kelly.
The Friday Night Lights actress, 32, is set to appear as Onassis in The Butler, which premieres in 2013 and stars James Marsden as John F. Kennedy.
Kelly was recently snapped in full Jackie O garb with Marsden on the film's New Orleans set, which recalls a similar picture of Holmes in costume last year.

In a photo posted on Twitter Tuesday by Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy, Kate Hudson looks every bit like a sexy dance teacher as she wraps her legs around a costar (who looks more than a little like Chris Evans!).
"Kate Hudson in action," Murphy wrote of the mother of two, 33, who will play Cassandra July, an instructor at Rachel Berry's (Lea Michele) school in New York, for six episodes of season 4.
Co-creator Brad Falchuk told EW.com that Hudson's character is a going to give Berry a tough time.

Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries is so mired in court that a settlement is looking out of reach and a trial doesn't appear likely until next year.
"To say I am frustrated is an understatement," the reality star's lawyer, Laura Wasser, complained to a judge Tuesday at a Los Angeles Superior Court hearing, according to E Online.
Humphries, 27, a pro basketball player, is seeking to annul the August 2011 televised wedding on the grounds the marriage was a fraud. Kardashian, 31, wants a straightforward divorce.

If PDA seals the boyfriend status deal, it's official that Rumer Willis is dating again!
The 23-year-old was snapped holding hands with Hard Times of RJ Berger actor Jayson Blair on Monday as well as going in for a quick peck during a smoke break outside a café in L.A.
According to a source they met "over cocktails through mutual friends," and have been trying to keep it a secret since becoming an item in early June. Willis and Blair, 28, had been seen flirting and touching affectionately at West Hollywood's Bagatelle restaurant, causing speculation over whether the two were an item.
"From the second she sat down, he had his arm around her shoulder and they were laughing, flirting and seemed very into each other," an onlooker told PEOPLE.
Joe Simpson Charged with DUI

Joe Simpson was charged on Tuesday with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence.
The 54-year-old father of Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson was arrested on Aug. 4 after he was pulled over at approximately 10 p.m. on Ventura Boulevard in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles.
"He had had a couple of glasses of wine at dinner with his wife. They were driving home and he went through a check point a few blocks from the restaurant," a source close to Joe Simpson tells PEOPLE. "He took a breathalyzer voluntarily thinking nothing of it. He was surprised to know that he was over the limit. He learned a very important lesson from it all."
If convicted, he could serve up to six months jail time, pay a $1,000 fine and face 36 months of probation, the Los Angeles City Attorney's office tells PEOPLE.
Simpson, who spent the night in jail following his arrest, was reportedly released at 9:41 a.m. the next morning.
His arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 30 in L.A.

Chad Johnson (formerly Ochocinco), normally a vivacious Twitter presence with more than 3 million followers, has finally broken his silence – on Twitter – following his arrest for allegedly head-butting his new wife Evelyn Lozada. "I haven't had to tread water in a long time.…" he wrote on Tuesday. "Special thank you to my fans...family...friends for keeping me afloat..."
Also, the football star and Dancing with the Stars alum changed his Twitter profile picture to a road sign pointing in two directions: "Rock" and "Hard Place."
Lozada, meanwhile, has been more vocal. On Tuesday, she filed for divorce after only 41 days of marriage – and she spoke out, saying, "Domestic violence is not okay, and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well."
