Committee for Green Foothills is working for you! Through grass-roots activism, education, and advocacy, we work to protect and preserve the hills, forests, creeks, wetlands, and coastal lands of the San Francisco Peninsula.

Since 1962, the Committee has played a vital role in protecting much of the open space and natural beauty we now treasure.

Our mission is to protect the open space, farmlands, and natural resources of
San Mateo and Santa Clara counties through advocacy, education, and grassroots action.
