Expert committee of Russian Association for Engineering Education was working in Togliatti State University on November 23 – 27. Three TSU study programs were submitted for assessment: «Power Supply», «Equipment and Technology of Welding Production», and «Machine – Building Technology».

On November 15, 2008, Rector of Togliatti State University Sergey F. Zhilkin died under tragic circumstances. Over 2 thousand employees and 14 thousand students are mourning deeply over this sudden loss. Sergey Zhilkin worked for the city, for the university and for us.

Professors and students of Togliatti State University pledge to complete all the projects initiated by the Rector and will follow the strategy of constant development set by Sergey Zhilkin. We must live and work hard to create the university he dreamt of.
