Only two tributes contenders remain in the arena MTV Movie Brawl 2012. And if the current vote count is any indication, this will be one equally matched fight to the finish. "The Hunger Games" has "Cosmopolis" in its cross-hairs for the title of your most-anticipated movie of 2012, and they've both come a long way to get here, beating the likes of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Woman in Black" in earlier rounds.

If ever there were a time to cast your vote, it's now. The battle is only beginning to heat up between The Girl On Fire and The Almost-Erstwhile Edward Cullen, with polls open until 5 p.m. EST on Monday (January 23).

It won't be long now before we're actually watching "The Hunger Games" movie, instead of just thinking about it, talking about it, choreographing interpretive dances about it and obsessing over every last little sneak peeky tidbit the studio deigns to tease us with. (What do you mean, you haven't been choreographing interpretive "Hunger Games" dances? AND YOU CALL YOURSELF A FAN.)

But in the meantime, Lionsgate (via Moviefone) has thrown us another delicious bone: the final poster for the film, featuring the trademark flaming Mockingjay just beneath a big, bow-and-arrow-toting Jennifer Lawrence, who's taking aim at...well, us, it looks like. (Katniss, don't shoot! We're on your side!)

If Josh Hutcherson's portrayal of Peeta—the District 12 tribute whose affections for baked goods are surpassed only by his love for fellow Games player Katniss Everdeen—seems perfectly effortless, there's a reason. According to the stars of the March 23 release, Josh is the cast member most like the character he portrays.

"Josh. Josh is Peeta," Jennifer confirmed, when posed the fan question from @RealOrNotReal. "He's charming, he's nice, he's very real and down to earth, he's not fake in any way. He just can charm anyone and anything."

Hunger Games Jennifer LawrenceWhen it comes to the cinematic adaptation of literary wunderkind "The Hunger Games," there's probably no more challenging scene to realize onscreen than the one where Katniss and Peeta emerge at the opening ceremony wearing morbid all-black ensembles, and suddenly burst into flame. But while we've had a great time imagining what that moment would look like—even going so far as sketch out our very own vision of the outfit—thanks to an exclusive new still from Entertainment Weekly, we don't have to wonder anymore. 'Cause we're getting a real, actual early look at how Cinna (and by Cinna, we mean costume designer Judianna Makovsky) put the iconic look together! And all together now: OOOOOOOH.

Take off your gloves and put on your fighting hats! We're down to the Final Four in our epic MTV Movie Brawl 2012, and things are about to get ugly. (But don't worry, not too ugly; after all, we've still got a Robert Pattinson movie on the board.)

The good news: After a neck-and-neck race to the finish, "The Hunger Games" beat out "John Carter" to advance to the next round of competition—proving once again that people really, really want to see the first of Suzanne Collins' epic trilogy up on the big screen, like, NOW. But the dystopian drama faces a fierce opponent in this upcoming battle, after "The Woman in Black" made a rapid climb through the ranks to reach the Final Four. Will the cachet of the actor formerly known as Harry Potter be a bigger draw than this YA crowd-pleaser? Well, IT WILL BE IF YOU DON'T VOTE.

We're never not-hungry for new info from the upcoming "Hunger Games" movie, and today, we're gobbling up this latest tidbit like WHOA: a new still from the film! The just-released photo (via The L.A. Times) shows Katniss, Effie and Haymitch on a couch at the Capitol, eyes fixed on...um. You know, we don't know what, actually. But from the distressed expressions on everyone's faces, we're guessing it's not a fun and funky new episode of "Panem's Got Talent." Even Haymitch, with a mysterious (and undoubtedly strong!) brown-colored drink in hand, looks positively nauseated by whatever he's looking at. What could it be? Footage from a previous Hunger Games? A behind-the-scenes look at the making of muttations? Newly leaked footage from the President Snow sex tape?

...Okay, now we're nauseated.

Remember when we asked you (about a million years ago) to send in your burning questions for "Hunger Games" stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth? Well...we indeed posed those queries to the dystopian trio, and we're bringing you the insightful, interesting and frequently funny answers each Thursday for the next month!

To kick things off, here's a question from @jjussan: "I've heard a lot about pranking on the set... tell us one of the things that happened!"

And here's Josh's hilarious answer:

With the dystopian District 12 situated right in the heart of Appalachia, it's no surprise that the "Hunger Games" soundtrack would seek out artists with a hint of twang—and now, they've (maybe) got a sibling duo! The Secret Sisters, a pair of real-life relations hailing from the deep 'n' dirty South, told TimesDaily that their song "Tomorrow Will Be Kinder" can be heard on the soundtrack for the highly anticipated film. (Lionsgate did not return our request for comment by press time.)

The song by the country duo is a strangely auspicious pick for the movie about teens, far from home in a ruined world; it was written by the sisters in 2011, after they watched helplessly from Australia as their home state was ravaged by destructive tornadoes. And with their authentic, soulful country sound, Secret Sisters will be a fine addition to "The Hunger Games" soundtrack, which already includes contributions by Taylor Swift, Arcade Fire and The Decemberists—and, of course, a song recorded by Jennifer Lawrence herself.

We're on to the next round in our MTV Movie Brawl 2012, and things are heating up! After some stiff competition and a few close races, only the Elite Eight contenders remain—and this next showdown is going to be even hotter.

The unstoppable juggernaut this year? Looks like the one to beat will be "The Hunger Games." It already KOed the much-anticipated "Prometheus" to advance to the next round, and its triumph over opponent "John Carter" is pretty much guaranteed...much as we love the idea of the uberhot Taylor Kitsch as an intergalactic Civil War vet. But there's been a few surprise upsets already as well: "Snow White and the Huntsman" fell flat in favor of "The Woman in Black," and say goodbye to indie darling "Perks of Being a Wallflower"—it couldn't hack it against a pack of hairy-footed hobbits and warmongering dwarfs.

Hunger GamesIf you're as starved for "Hunger Games" goodness as we are, you'll be more than happy to see what this brand new image is serving up.

Coming to us compliments of Entertainment Weekly, the new still from the highly anticipated film shows Katniss and Peeta during their training at the Capitol. Not only does the photo give us more of our favorite District 12 tributes—which is always appreciated—but we get another look at the pre-Game training session outfits we saw briefly in the trailer.

What the new picture reminds us it that we haven't really seen that much from this movie. The trailer focused so heavily on Katniss' time before and after the Reaping and then the training and evaluation that it left the second half of the story almost untouched.
