If you caught "The Hunger Games" trailer yesterday, you no doubt noted the presence of some major, A-list acting talent. Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson—the list goes on and on! But in the wake of all the big-name buzz, there's one surprise subject that everyone is talking about—a rising star, previously unknown, who just 24 hours after the release of "The Hunger Games" trailer has gotten his own Facebook fan page and become the subject of several new internet memes.

We are, of course, referring to Seneca Crane's beard.

Close-cropped and geometric, the beard sported by Seneca Crane (played by Wes Bentley) is the hot topic on everyone's radar. And today, Hollywood Crush has an EXCLUSIVE interview with the most sought-after new personality in showbiz...

No, not Wes Bentley. The beard.
Please join us in welcoming Bearderson McBeard.

The first full-length "Hunger Games" trailer set the internet ablaze this morning, and you better believe we'll be talking about it for days to come. With first looks at Peeta, Effie, Haymitch and Cinna (not to mention The Reaping, The Capitol and tribute training), there's plenty to unpack. First up: We hopped on the Skypes with several experts from around the fandom to get their take on the new clip. And if there was one overarching reaction, it was tears.

"I was crying," Arianna Ruiz from Down With the Capitol admitted. "I've never cried before with a trailer, but it's so emotional, and it's so wonderful to see my favorite book brought to life. And I'm sure it was the same for everyone else as well."

"There were lots of tears," agreed Megan Scott from The Hob.

It's time to enter the arena.

A full-length "Hunger Games" trailer dropped on today's "Good Morning America," giving fans their first celluloid look at Josh's Peeta, Elizabeth Banks' Effie and Woody Harrelson's Haymitch.

The clip opens on Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) sneaking under the fence surrounding District 12 to go hunting with friend Gale (Liam Hemsworth), and things quickly catch fire from there. We see Effie call Primrose's name in the Reaping and Katniss bravely take her place (can you say goosebumps?). We catch a quick glimpse of the otherwordly Capitol and Katniss' beautifying. We spy many a tribute preparing for battle and, in the trailer's final moments, the 24 hungrily running for the Cornucopia.

Liam HemsworthWe may not have a new trailer just yet to sate our "Hunger Games" cravings, but, thankfully, the internet is ripe with plenty of tribute talk this morning to keep our ravenous appetite at bay...for now. Let's peek the Panem stories you'll be talking about today:

1. Hair, glorious hair
InStyle spoke with "Hunger Games" hair department head Linda Flowers, who spilled some by-the-numbers scoop about coiffing the movie's stars and many, many extras. The most interesting stats? Elizabeth Banks (a.k.a. Effie) wore three different wigs: one pink, one green and one lavender. And about that "bizarre" Caesar Flickerman look Stanly Tucci teased to MTV News recently: "It's a dark navy blue wig in a Karl Lagerfeld-style ponytail," Linda told the mag.

When Woody Harrelson took some time to chat with MTV News' Josh Horowitz, he couldn't help but talk about how awesome his "Hunger Games" co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are. Woody, who plays Haymitch in the upcoming adaptation of Suzanne Collins' novel, laughed when asked how it was working with Jennifer as she plays the heroic Katniss. "She's a character," Woody enthused.

Woody was then kind enough to extend the compliment to District 12's other tribute, Josh, who's playing Peeta. "I think they are just marvelous actors. I think they just knocked it out of the park. They really went for it," Woody said.

Two literary series, two unforgettable heroines, two impossible love triangles...let's just say it's not two too surprising that comparisons have been springing up between "The Hunger Games" and "The Twilight Saga." But if you bring it up around "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence, she doesn't mince words:

"'Hunger Games' is not 'Twilight,'" she told Vanity Fair. "And while I hear the comparisons, it’s really premature to say that it will be the same phenomenon." (For the record, we agree...)

And since "The Hunger Games" is most certainly NOT "Twilight," and since any parallels between the two are totally overblown, we are sure that Vanity Fair would never, ever be so silly as to pose the casts of both movies for identical group shots, wearing identical clothing, in a setting that's... um...

HEY.

Let's just say that this thing certainly looks a lot like that thing.

You've seen the premiere of the EXCLUSIVE Peeta character poster from "The Hunger Games," and now we have scoop about another beloved character from the series. MTV News talked with Amandla Stenberg, who plays District 11 tribute Rue, last night at Teen Nick's HALO Awards, and we learned a little bit about her character and what could be a surprising reveal about her famous whistle.

Amandla first shared a little bit about her character in the upcoming movie. "My character is Rue, and she become the main character's best friend in the arena," Amandla explained, referring to Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss. "It's a really big part."

All of this, we already knew, but the juicy part of what Amandla said had to do with Rue's whistle, an element from the books that the teaser trailer tucked away as a bonus for fans. "She has a special whistle that she uses to communicate with her friend, so you'll have to see what it sounds like," Amandla teased.

Every year at Halloween, we spend hours trying to come up with the perfect pop-culture costume: that magical combination of Totally Original and Instantly Recognizable that makes everyone throw up their hands with envy and say, "Why didn't I think of that?!" (Note: Most years this endeavor ends in miserable failure after we waffle on our options until the last minute, come up with nothing and finally head to the store only to find that the good costumes are all already taken and we have no choice but to dress up as a zombie turnip. Again.)

But this year, after much pondering, we have a whole week's worth of costumes from this year's most talked-about shows, books and movies that are sure to be a hit at any party you attend. And first up:

KATNISS EVERDEEN.

Of course, every "Hunger Games" fan and their mother will probably show up at a party in Katniss paraphernalia—which is why we're offering a twist on what will probably be one of this year's more popular motifs. Rather than donning the drab black attire that Katniss wears in the arena (and that appeared briefly in the teaser trailer earlier this year), may we suggest that you dress as The Girl On Fire... on fire?

First things first: You will not actually be setting yourself on fire. Repeat, YOU WILL NOT BE SETTING YOURSELF ON FIRE. (And we are not liable for any hurty, burny injuries sustained to your person if you ignore the previous warning.)

With just half a year to go before "The Hunger Games" film is released, fans of the books are growing understandably anxious about the on-screen Games being as gritty, detailed and true-to-the-literary-source-material as humanly possible. But one thing's for sure: Caesar Flickerman, the Oprah of Panem television, is going to be just as you pictured him. How do we know? Because Stanley Tucci told us so!

And if The Tooch says it, it must be real.

"Absolutely," Stanley answered in response to our question about how accurate the cinematic depiction of Caesar will be. "Blue hair and... yeah, it's very bizarre."
