     Lewis R.W. Howell was born on Thursday, 27 March 1755 Westmoreland Co., VA; Lewis Howell's pension application, file #W9719. He served in the in 1776 Enlisted in October 1776 at Wheeling "on the Ohio River" as a private in Captain Stephen Ashby's Company in Colonel James Wood's Virginia regiment and served two years; he received a wound in the knee at the battle of Germantown. He enlisted in 1778 , in Shenandoah County, Virginia, and served three years as a private in Captain Abraham Tipton's and William Cheery's companies in Colonel Joseph Crocket's Virginia regiment.² He married Mary Ann Kirk on 28 April 1780 at in VA.² Lewis R.W. Howell married Leona Sisk on 15 December 1814 at Hopkins Co., KY.^1,3 Lewis Howell's pension application stated that he enlisted in 1776 at Wheeling on the Ohio river under Col. Stephen Ashby and served two years in the 12th Virginia Regiment and that he enlisted again in 1779 in Shenandosh County, Virginia, and served three years in the Continental line. About 1821, Lewis R.W. Howell (an unknown value).⁴ Pension application by Lewis Howell for two years of service after he enlisted under Captain Stephen Ashby in Oct 1776 in the Contintental line, regiment commanded by Col. James Wood, and was honorably discharged in Pennsylvania at Valley Forge by Gen Woodford. He was enlisted again by Captain Abraham Tipton and attached to the regiment commanded by Col. Joseph Crockett called the Western Battalion were he served three years before being discharged in Berkeley County Virginia (now West Virginia) by Capt. William Cherry. He also stated he had been inscribed on the pension list of the Kentucky Agency at the rate of eight dolllars per month since June 1818 by a certificate of teh Hon Secretary of War dated 15th February 1820. He further stated that he was wounded in the knee at the battle of Germantown which prevents him from doing farm work. In the name of God, Aman. I, Lewis Howel of the County of Gallatin and State of Illinois, being weak in body but of sound mind and memory do make ordain and establish this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all others and I do hereby appoint Allen More of the County of White and State of Illinois, to be the executor of this my last will and testament. First it is my will that all my just debts be paid that my personal property be sold for ___ purpose. Second after the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses I do hereby devise and bequeathe to my beloved wife, Loama, Howel the farme and improvements thereon as whiel I now live known as followes to wit: It lying and being in the County of Gallatin and State of Illinois and bounded as follows, towit: it being the West half of the North West quarter of Section twenty in Township Seven South of Range Nine East during her natural life to take the issue and proffits thereof after her death I bequeathe and devise all my right titel and estate of it and to said farm to my two daughters Morning and Francis Morning and her heirs to have the North End of said land and Francis shall have the South End which is the home place said land to be divided equally to have and to hold unto them and there heirs and asigns forever. I likewise will to my two sones William Howel one dollar and to James Howel one dollar to be levied out of my personal estate my will is that all of my personal estate after the above debts be discharged to remain in the hands of my dear beloved wife so long as she livs after her death it is my will that the remains of the personal estate if thear be any remaining after her death to be divided betwen my two daughters Morning and Frances Equally betwen them.. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the 10th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two.

     Martha Howell was born on Thursday, 27 March 1755 Frederick Co., VA. She married George Fugate in 1785 at in VA.^2,3 Martha Howell died circa 1821 Hopkins Co., KY.

     Vincent Howell served in the Lt. Vincent Howell wa appointed in the first Regiment of Dragoons in 1782 and that he continued in this Regiment till he died in 1782 when he was killed in the Battle of Trenton during the Revolutionary War.^1,2 He was born circa 1753 Frederick Co., VA?.^3,4 He died on 1782 in service.^5,4

     Jilson Howell was born circa 1759 Frederick Co., VA?.² He married Mary Ann Jones, daughter of Mason Jones and Mary Ashby, on 9 May 1789 at Shenandoah Co., VA.³ Jilson Howell died on Wednesday, 11 July 1810 Henderson (now Hopkins) Co., KY.^3,2 There is an Indenture in Hopkins Co., KY, on 24 August 1814 where Partition of land of Jilson Howell, dec'd, listed heirs William, Vincent, Mason, Elizabeth, Polly. Witnesses Horatio Pidcock, Thomas Adams, Alexander Ashby.⁴

     Vincent Howell was born on Wednesday, 13 August 1794 Henderson (now Hopkins) Co., KY.^2,3,4 He was Commonwealth vs. Vincent Howell in bastardy. The Dept. appointed in discharge of his recogce., and it appearing to the Court by the oath of Rebecca Pedcock that the said Deft. is the father of a bastard female child begotton on the body of said Rebecca of which child, she the said Rebecca, was delivered in this County on the 13th day of August 1815; and that the said Deft. doth pay to Thomas Adams, Esquire, for the care and support of said child, the sum of $15 annually for the term of eight years, to commence from the said 13th day of August, 1815; and that he be in the custody of the Sheriff until he executes bond with approved security for the securing of the payment of the aforesaid several sums; and, thereupon, said Deft., with George Fugate, Alex. Major, and William Barghis, his securities executed bond accordingly in the penalty of $200. Presen: Wm. G. McGary and Thomas G. Davis, Esquires. in 1816 at Hopkins Co., KY.⁵ He married Nancy Jane Ashby, daughter of John Ashby and Mary Harding, on 15 January 1818 at Hopkins Co., KY.^2,6 Vincent Howell died on Sunday, 13 August 1848 in Hanson, Hopkins Co., KY, at age 54.⁴ He was buried in Old Salem Methodist Church, Hopkins Co., KY.

     Mason Jones Howell was born on Saturday, 1 August 1795 Woodford Co., KY.^2,3 He married Eleanor Roger on 10 October 1816 at Warrick Co., IN.³ Mason Jones Howell died on Sunday, 17 October 1875 Warrick Co., IN, at age 80.³ He was buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Spence Co., IN.³

     Elizabeth Howell was born on before 1796.¹ She married John Crow on 22 July 1818 at in Gibson Co., IN.²

     Agness Victorine Arnett was born on Wednesday, 13 October 1852.¹ She married William Howell Majors, son of Alexander Major Jr. and Helen Craig, on 25 October 1871 at Henderson Co., KY.² Agness Victorine Arnett died on Sunday, 23 May 1943 at age 90.¹

     Barbrie Davis married James H. Wilson, son of Capt. James C. Wilson and Eliza Jane Major, on 28 October 1885.¹

      Mary Elizabeth F. Rudd was also known as Molly. She was born on Thursday, 28 October 1875 KY.¹ She married Benjamin Franklin Wilson, son of Capt. James C. Wilson and Eliza Jane Major, on 5 February 1896 at Hopkins Co., KY.¹ Mary Elizabeth F. Rudd appeared in the census of 24 April 1930 Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. She died on Tuesday, 25 March 1952 in Jefferson Co., KY, at age 76.¹

     Zelma Wilson was born on Saturday, 24 October 1896.¹ She married 1st, Edward L. Yonts on 8 June 1916.² Zelma Wilson appeared on the census of 24 April 1930 in the household of Mary Elizabeth F. Rudd. Zelma Wilson married 2nd, Fred W. Stoll on 29 July 1950.² Zelma Wilson died on 1983.¹

     Edward L. Yonts was born on Friday, 1 May 1891.¹ He married 1st, Zelma Wilson, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Wilson and Mary Elizabeth F. Rudd, on 8 June 1916.¹

     Edward Wilson Yonts was born on Monday, 22 September 1919.¹ He died on Monday, 2 April 1928 at age 8.¹

     James Wilson Yonts was born on 1956.

     Robert Martin Yonts was born on 1961.

     Fred W. Stoll was born on Thursday, 18 September 1884.¹ He married 2nd, Zelma Wilson, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Wilson and Mary Elizabeth F. Rudd, on 29 July 1950.¹ Fred W. Stoll died on Thursday, 17 February 1966 at age 81.¹

     Benjamin Earl Wilson was born on Friday, 16 January 1903. He married 1st, Lora V. Martin on 24 April 1924. Benjamin Earl Wilson died on Monday, 26 January 1976 Louisville, KY, at age 73.¹

     Deany Parish married Thomas Ross Wilson, son of Capt. James C. Wilson and Eliza Jane Major. Deany Parish was born on Wednesday, 30 September 1874.¹ She died on Friday, 2 May 1958 at age 83.¹

     Lowell Wilson was born on Sunday, 24 October 1897.¹ He married Marie G. (?) on 30 June 1923.¹ Lowell Wilson died on Friday, 1 October 1976 Miami Beach, FL, at age 78.²

     Marie G. (?) was born on Wednesday, 2 September 1896. She married Lowell Wilson, son of Thomas Ross Wilson and Deany Parish, on 30 June 1923.¹

     Eliza Jones was born on Monday, 21 October 1867 Hopkins Co., KY.² She married 1st, William Columbus Wilson, son of Capt. James C. Wilson and Eliza Jane Major, on 31 October 1886 Hopkins Co., KY.^2,1 Eliza Jones died on Monday, 11 September 1893 at age 25.²

     Guy Lafayette Wilson was born on Friday, 9 September 1887 KY.^2,1 He married Gaynell Elizabeth Kimball on 22 October 1913.² Guy Lafayette Wilson died on Thursday, 18 January 1968 at age 80.²

     Gaynell Elizabeth Kimball married Guy Lafayette Wilson, son of William Columbus Wilson and Eliza Jones, on 22 October 1913.¹

     Bertha Mae Wilson was born on Friday, 1 March 1889 KY.^1,2 She married Haldor Lillenas on 4 October 1910.¹ Bertha Mae Wilson died on Friday, 13 April 1945 at age 56.¹

     Haldor Lillenas was born on Wednesday, 18 November 1885.¹ He married Bertha Mae Wilson, daughter of William Columbus Wilson and Eliza Jones, on 4 October 1910.¹ Haldor Lillenas died on Tuesday, 18 August 1959 at age 73.¹

     George J. Franklin was born on 1888. He married Hallie Wilson, daughter of William Columbus Wilson and Eliza Jones, on 4 September 1911.

     Ruth Wilson was born on Friday, 3 March 1893 Vinegrove, KY.^1,2 She married Charles Roscoe Orin on 28 January 1913 at Pasadena, Los Angeles Co., CA.^1,2 Ruth Wilson died on Monday, 22 March 1954 Compton, Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 61.^1,2

     Sarah Hood Ragsdale was born on Sunday, 23 February 1873 TN.¹ She married 2nd, William Columbus Wilson, son of Capt. James C. Wilson and Eliza Jane Major, on 17 June 1896 Paducah, KY.^1,2 Sarah Hood Ragsdale died on Sunday, 31 July 1955 Pasadena, Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 82.¹

     Mallalieu Archie Wilson was born on Saturday, 5 February 1898 Arlington, Carlisle Co., KY.^1,2 He married 1st, Miriam Jewell McNeill, daughter of Robert Commack McNeill Sr. and Margaret Lela McFarland, on 22 February 1919 Pasadena, Los Angeles Co., CA.¹ Mallalieu Archie Wilson married 2nd, Ada Smith Teare on 29 July 1983.³ Mallalieu Archie Wilson died on Wednesday, 27 November 1996 Nampa, Canyon Co., ID, at age 98.^2,3
