The Prince George's Community College Intercollegiate Athletic Department is committed to enhancing the quality of the educational experience of all student athletes – as well as that the college community at large as their avid fans. We strong believe than an athletic program has as important role in character building as it seeks to encourage good sportsmanship, personal integrity, respect for others, and dedication to achieving both collective and individual goals.
A member of both the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and the Maryland Junior College Athletic Association (MD JUCO), Prince George's Community College Intercollegiate Athletics comprise TEAM OWL. Eleven intercollegiate teams represent the college in the NJCAA and MD JUCO, and all student athletes must meet NJCAA eligibility requirements. In the past, the Owls have enjoyed considerable success. In many sports, we have consistently been ranked nationally, and many of our athletes transfer to four-year colleges to continue their academic and athletic experience.
