Multimedia Equipment Repair

What does this product do?

Equipment repair is a campus service for church-owned equipment used for both academic and non-academic functions.

How do I obtain this product?

To order repairs refer to the link(s) in the left sidebar or call the Office of Infomation Technology at (801) 422-4000. Repairs can be made between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. (In case of an after-hours emergency, call the Office of IT.)

What are the options?

The University has the resources to repair almost all professional and consumer grade devices on campus. This includes equipment as small as VCRs to as large as the video screen at Lavell Edwards Stadium. However, the University does not repair copy machines.

Commonly repaired equipment:

• Televisions
• VCRs
• Cameras (video, still/film/digital)
• Playback equipment (CD, DVD, tape decks, etc.)
• Projectors (film, overhead and computer)
• Sound equipment (microphones, amplifiers, speakers)

What are the costs?

Pricing

• Academic repairs are free of charge.
• Service orders are charged parts and labor. The labor rate is $72.50 per hour and will apply to all office equipment (except telephones) and many non-classroom devices. A minimum billing of 30 minutes labor will be charged on all orders.
• The University does not offer these services for personal equipment.
