This comprises approximately 800,000 prints, negatives and transparencies. It is the largest collection of photographs in Wales.

 

The collection contains material by some of the earliest pioneers of photography through to works by contemporary photographers.  

 

The collection comprises mostly images connected to Wales. This includes views of Wales, the work of Welsh photographers and photographs of Welsh personalities.
