Your PBS checklist

• Show your Medicare card and concession card/s to your pharmacist each time you get a prescription filled.
• Ask for less expensive brands of medicine
• Are protected by the PBS Safety Net —keep a record of how much you spend.
• Don’t get more medicines than you need.
• Make sure you know the rules about travelling overseas with PBS medicines.
• Claiming and collecting PBS benefits for someone else
