Our staff averages over 15 years experience in their respective fields and related technology development programs. In addition, consultants and associates of SYColeman provide an experienced and diversified pool of quality resources that are available as needed on a particular project or contract basis. SYColeman has successfully performed, and continues to successfully perform, the technical requirements of a wide variety of Government and Commercial customers located around the world. SYColeman is fully capable of applying a total systems approach in analyzing advanced technical concepts in a variety of structural or operational simulations, defining operational applications and concepts, and then applying advanced technical modifications to system elements. Through innovation and commitment, SYColeman is dedicated to providing competent and effective engineering and technical support to all of our customers.

SYColeman provides high quality, key support services to a myriad of customers in both the Department of Defense and Commercial Sectors. We are organized and staffed to provide customers with state-of-the-art solutions to our Nation's most difficult challenges. Our expertise and skills include computer network operations (defense and attack), network security planning/design/implementation, operations research and requirements analysis; missile test planning and support; systems analysis, simulation and integration; strategic and theater missile defense target development; interceptor design and evaluation; optical seeker technology; missile software engineering and Verification & Validation; computational fluid dynamics (CFD); threat signature definitions; simulation software development; force structure analysis; battle management; space education and literacy; operational support, and command and control architectural analysis.

SYColeman is a wholly-owned subsidiary of L-3 Communications. The Company was formed in 2003 through the integration of SYTechnology, Inc. and Coleman Research Corporation. Coleman Research Corporation (CRC), whose assets were acquired by L-3 Communications in 2001, was established in 1980 and had developed into a leading provider of critical space and missile defense products and services. SYTechnology, Inc, whose assets were acquired by L-3 Communications in 2002, was established in 1986 and had developed into a leading provider of critical space and missile defense products and services.
