(WAFF) - Some voters in Madison County may be experiencing issues voting.

Madison County Probate Judge Tommy Ragland says moisture in the air is causing ballots to swell. If a ballot is too swollen, a machine will not accept it.

Voters are being asked to store their ballots so that they can be counted.

Officials are also looking into having a technician come to make adjustments to the voting machines.

Polls are open until 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
