Ensembl is a genome browser for vertebrate genomes that
supports research in comparative genomics, evolution,
sequence variation and transcriptional regulation. Ensembl
annotate genes, computes multiple alignments, predicts
regulatory function and collects disease data. Ensembl tools
include BLAST, BLAT, BioMart and the Variant Effect
Predictor (VEP) for all supported species.
- dbSNP152 for human with changes to repeat expansion/retraction representation
- Update to GENCODE 32 for human
- New beta Post-GWAS analysis pipeline tool online
- New genomes: 11 pig breeds with comparative analysis between them and other agricultural species
- New gene annoation: dog, cat, horse, rabbit, grey short-tailed opossum, marmoset and rhesus monkey
