How it works:

We offer an electronic ticketing service where music fans print their own tickets or display them on their phones to gain entry. Tickets are processed on the night via printed doorlist or our Promoter App (iOS and Android) to scan in.

There are no costs to the promoter. We add a minimal per ticket booking fee to the ticket price that covers all costs including credit card processing.

Promoters keep track of sales via an online login, the promoter app and sales reports can be emailed daily. Ticketing proceeds are paid to the promoter via bank transfer following the successful completion of the show as advertised.

Gospel from The Wine Cellar:
"Not only a comprehensive gig guide but perhaps the widest editorial coverage of contemporary music in NZ and a very easy to use ticketing platform. Ticketing is a very good idea, unlike social media intentions and Real life promises a sold ticket is reliable."

Why Undertheradar

Ticketing with UTR allows event organisers the unique opportunity to promote their events directly to their potential audience whilst associating with a much loved and respected brand.

About Undertheradar

Undertheradar is a locally owned and operated by music lovers and is dedicated to the promotion of alternative music, live music and the support of local music communities across the country. Launched in 2004 as an online record store, the site evolved to include a local gig guide and regular music news and has since become the largest dedicated music site in the country.

In 2008 we developed our online ticketing platform after noticing that tickets for many shows we were excited about were not available online. The service was the first of its kind here, allowing event organisers of any size and experience the opportunity to easily ticket their gigs. It took off and has helped establish UTR as an essential site and service for the local music industry.
