2019: All-Conference USA (second team); Collegiate Baseball National Pitcher of the Week (April 22); C-USA Pitcher of the Week (twice, April 22 & May 13); Shared the team lead with six victories after working his way into a Division I starter’s role for the first time… Delivered some big outings in the second half of the season to help lift the Owls into the C-USA postseason tournament - going 4-1 with a 1.87 ERA and an austere .171 opponents’ average in seven second half starts… Ranked 28th among the NCAA statistical leaders with 12.05 strikeouts-per-9.0 innings… Tied for 30th in the nation with 108 strikeouts overall… Struck out ten or more batters in a game three times, including a career-high 13 in just 7.0 innings for a victory against C-USA rival Middle Tennessee… Named a national Pitcher of the Week for the outing against the MTSU Blue Raiders, a one-hit shutout for 7.0 innings with 13 Ks… Posted six other starts where he reached at least eight strikeouts… Finished 45th in the nation in hits allowed per 9.0 innings (6.47), and was 111th among all Division I pitchers in WHIP (1.12)… Pitched a career long 8.0 innings for a key C-USA road victory at Old Dominion… Other wins were registered over Big 12 power Baylor (at major league venue Minute Maid Park), eventual C-USA Tournament Southern Miss and heavy hitting Louisiana Tech (twice)… Held all opposing hitters to a composite .200 batting average.

2018: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Led the team, and tied for sixth overall in the conference, with 25 pitching appearances… All but two appearances were out of the bullpen for a team-high 23 relief outings… Finished second on the staff in opponents’ batting average (.205)… Averaged 10.2 strikeouts per 9.0 innings, the fourth-highest mark on the staff… Maintained a 2-to-1 strikeouts-to-walk ratio… Usually averaged just over an inning of work for the 23 relief appearances, but stepped-up with 5.0 frames in a midweek road start at longtime foe Sam Houston State to tie a career-high… Allowed just one run, which was unearned, on just one hit and a walk while striking out four in 5.0 innings against the NCAA Tournament-bound Bearkats… Only other start was against west coast power Gonzaga where he struck out a career-high six in 3.0 innings… Proved to be a ‘Night Owl’ who maintained a team-leading 1.48 ERA and .151 opponents’ batting average in 24.1 innings pitched after dark.

2017: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Finished third on the staff in appearances (25)... Shared the team lead in relief outings (24) with MLB draft pick Glenn Otto... Sensational in lone start of the year (and just the second of his career) against longtime foe Texas State... Fired a career-long 5.0 innings with a career-high four strikeouts at home vs. Texas State to improve to 3-1... Pitched 2.1 scoreless relief innings on Opening Day at nationally-ranked Texas to earn the staff's first victory of the season... Also earned a win in relief over west coast power Pepperdine... Made three postseason appearances in the NCAA and C-USA Tournaments totaling 4.0 innings... Maintained a 2.25 ERA and held opposing hitters to a .067 batting average in the Owls' postseason run... Finished the year with a 4.50 ERA and 19 strikeouts in 30.0 innings, but 3.0 shutout innings against heavy-hitting C-USA foe Florida International paved the way to a strong second half of the season that included a 3.77 ERA and .226 opponents' batting average... Held opposing hitters to a .253 average when runners were on base... Some of his best outings were pitched away from Reckling Park (2.30 ERA and .231 OBA)... Proved to love pitching in front of big crowds, recording a 1.64 ERA and .163 OBA in 11.0 innings when the attendance was over 4,000... Played in the California Collegiate League over the summer (Santa Barbara).

2016: Conference USA Academic Honor Roll; Second on the pitching staff with 21 appearances in debut season of Division I baseball, all but one of which was in relief... Finished second on the team in ERA (2.28), and tied for second on the staff in lowest opponents' batting average (.209), for Owls with at least the same amount of innings (23.2)... Made first Rice appearance Feb. 23 against eventual NCAA Regional participant Dallas Baptist, where he struck out a career-high two batters in 1.1 scoreless innings... Fired a career-long 3.2 innings of one-hit scoreless relief at home against No. 7 ranked TCU... Earned first career save with 3.0 scoreless frames against C-USA foe Charlotte where he allowed just one base hit... Did not allow an earned run over his first 14.2 innings spanning 11 relief outings... Lone starting assignment was in the morning semifinal game of the C-USA Tournament against 41-win foe Louisiana Tech... Worked 3.0 innings and struck out one in a no decision against the heavy-hitting Bulldogs... Finished the year with nearly one-third of his total innings (7.0) against a talented LA Tech squad that went on to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament... Pitched twice against No. 5 ranked LSU in the NCAA Tournament... Played in the California Collegiate League (Neptune Beach) over the summer... One of five Owls to be named in his summer league's all-star game.

High School -- A 2015 graduate of Gulliver Preparatory in Pinecrest, Fla.... Four-year varsity letterman, and three-year starter, under head coach Javy Rodriguez... Helped lead the Raiders to a 25-7 record, the District 16-4A regular season championship, and to the semifinals of the state tournament as a senior... Went 4-1 on the mound with an 0.87 ERA in 40.1 innings to earn all-district honors in 2015... Held opposing hitters to a .181 average while registering 8.7 strikeouts per 9.0 innings... Earned first team all-Miami-Dade County honors from the Miami-Herald... Selected for the USA Baseball NTIS South Florida Region Team (16u and 17u).
