Ascent Trip Report

We arrived early at camp Muir on Saturday. Unfortunately, we did not get much sleep in because a group of party-goers. They thought it was a good place to drink beer and smoke pot until late...
We left camp at 12:30 and headed straight towards Gib ledges. We crossed two bergschrunds between camp Muir and the base of Gib Rock.
First bergschrund had a right leaning ramp near the middle but we had to cut steps to get over the second.
There might be an easier way keeping close to the Beehive ridge and avoiding them completely.
The Gib ledges crux was a 50ft traverse on some hard iced up gravel followed by another 50ft of scrambling before accessing the chute.
We heard one large rock fall towards Nisqually and had few small rocks falling on the ledges.
Once on Gib chute, we ascended climbers left where there was no sign of rockfall. One we reached the Gib rock ridge, we could see a group of 3 on the Ingraham glacier. The wind was blowing hard at that point.
We ascended without incidents up to 13600 where we turned back due to altitude and wind. There was one more large visible bergschrund probably around half way between us and the summit.
We descended back near Gib rock and front pointed down steep snow to access the Ingraham direct route.
Route finding was quite hard since the glacier has many large crevasses. There seemed to be only one way across most of them on sketchy snow bridges. It was getting warm and we witnessed a serac collapse between us and Disappointment Cleaver around 10800ft leaving a bunch of debris on the lower Ingraham.
Once we reached the bottom of the glacier, there were no more hazards until camp Muir except for snow balling on the crampons almost twisting an ankle.
