Syria suspends flights heading to Sudan
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Syrian airlines announced on Wednesday suspending all flights to Khartoum Airport until further notice.
Syrian airlines said in a statement that the suspension came on the back of the unrest Sudan is witnessing.
The Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group, have been clashing across the country since April 15.
The death toll has reached at least 270 people.
The Syrian airlines added that all flights that were scheduled for Friday have been canceled.
It also demanded passengers visit offices of the company for any inquiries.
