Motivation
edit- the coin edge (Q308800) is one of the currency's mission data and must have a property in Wikidata (edges)(photo). Mohammed Qays (talk) 13:19, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
Discussion
edit- @Mohammed Qays: Could you add some examples of values? --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 22:11, 15 June 2024 (UTC)

- @Mohammed Qays: I don't think that's what was asked for - see other property proposals. The examples should have both a Wikidata item (Q number) and the expected value of the property for that item. Your proposal says the datatype is Commons Media File so the example values should be links to those files. ArthurPSmith (talk) 00:54, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- @ArthurPSmith The addition is incorrect in 2 euro coin (Q1981571), And you must isolate each currency with an (Q number). Mohammed Qays (talk) 10:59, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- @ArthurPSmith In addition, how do you express examples 4, 5, and 6 in writing? Mohammed Qays (talk) 14:02, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Mohammed Qays: Examples resemble the Wikidata data model: subject-property-direct object. If you are proposing a new property, your examples must show how it is supposed the property should be used if it is created. Now, it is unclear: is 50 cent euro coin (Q2002797) the subject (in this case, what will be the value of <coin edge property>?), or the direct object (in this case, in which item the <coin edge>=50 cent euro coin (Q2002797) pair will be used)? Feel free to ask if this isn't clear. --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 19:58, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
