On May 5 he will return with the follow-up to his much-lauded 2015 album, Traveller, as well as launch his All-American Road Show tour. The new run, which piggybacks on already announced dates in March and April, kicks off in Georgia and wraps Aug. 25 in New Hampshire. Along the way, he will command fabled venues like Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, CO., Shoreline Amitheatre in Mountain View, CA., and Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL. He will also join festivals like Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI and Watershed in Washington State. The soul-country powerhouse has tapped a mouthwatering lineup of openers: Brothers Osborne, Lucie Silvas, Brent Cobb, Anderson East, and Margo Price will all join along the way. (Later this summer, Stapleton will take a turn as the stage-warmer when he opens for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in June.) Also on Thursday morning, the ACM Awards honored Stapleton with three nominations. He is currently up for for Male Vocalist of the Year, Video of the Year (“Fire Away”), and Song of the Year (“Tennessee Whiskey”). Tickets to the All-American Road Show will be available to fan club members beginning Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. local time; the general public will have access beginning Feb.24.
