(IPA) alveolar trill release of a plosive (e.g. [dʳ], sometimes implying an affricate [d͜r]); or a weak, fleeting or epenthetic [r].
(IPA, obsolete) [ɹ]-colouring of a vowel, or an [ɹ]-offglide of a vowel.

Use of ⟨Vʳ⟩ for non-trilled rhotic vowels is obsolete. ⟨V˞⟩ (vowel with hook diacritic) is now standard. See usage notes at ⟨ʴ⟩.

The Unicode Standard^[1] recommends against the use of superscript modifier letters to represent stylistically superscript text.^[2]
