Has the Church a theologically deifned teaching on when the moment of "ensoulment" in the zygote/fetus occurrs. I am aware of and have read the CDF publication on the Magesterium teaching in this area and have never been able to find that they have "difinitively" stated that the ensoulment occurrs at conception only that the "evidence" indicates that a human person (genitically constituted a person) is the result of fertilization. Specifically, Does the Church declare in any of its decrees that the soul is immediately infused upon conception? I know that we are taught that God Creats the soul "immediately" but IS IT INFUSED IMMEDIATELY UPON CONCEPTION???
