| This page has a fairly large section that takes up about half of the page detailing a list of times that space marines have appeared in fiction. I removed the section on the basis of it being unsourced, WP:FANCRUFT, and for it being an WP:INDISCRIMINATE list of WP:TRIVIA. However, this edit was reverted because an editor thought that this section was "very different" from other pop-culture sections. Instead of engaging in an edit war, I would like to make a request for comments to decide if the section should be removed, stay, or if some other solution can be decided on. Thanks. What is the reliability of Allkpop for K-pop-related articles?
Allkpop is the English-language K-pop and celebrity gossip site and fan blog owned by 6Theory Media, which also owns Tokyohive. The site contains extensive Korean culture-related news coverage and rumours that are aimed at non-Korean audiences, this does not itself as a generally reliable source and also claims to be cited by major news organizations. They also made occasional interviews and special reports, which counts as first-hand journalism. It also licensed to stream MAMA Awards. | Does placing File:Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides (Dune 2021).jpg — a non-free image of an actor's portrayal of the subject of this article — in the infobox violate WP:NFCC?
There already exists an overwhelming consensus on this matter (that it is not a violation), but the sole editor who disagreed edit-warred to have the image removed from the infobox. Unfortunately, all but one admin at ANEW effectively endorsed this removal on a technicality, so I am starting this RfC to resolve this matter. InfiniteNexus (talk) 22:47, 9 March 2024 (UTC) |

Previous RSN Discussion: February 2021 For some background, OKO.press is mentioned or cited on 129 articles across English Wikipedia. After a talk page discussion on Visegrád 24, it was mentioned that the source may not be reliable. Given this source is cited in CTOPS articles (including Disinformation in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, LGBTQ articles, and Israel-Hamas war articles), an RFC is needed to reassess reliability.
