Nominator's rationale: This is not a family, but multiple families. Patti D'Arbanville, Jesse Johnson and Noel Marshall are not related to Peter Griffith in any way. Steven Bauer, Don Johnson and Antonio Banderas were related to him at one time, but ceased being his sons-in-law when they divorced Melanie. If you were to remove these six people from the list, all that's left are two children, one ex-wife and one grandchild—not enough to warrant their own Category. Delete per nom. Omnis Scientia (talk) 09:57, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've also proposed the Peter Griffith article for deletion. Yours6700 (talk) 20:22, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Maine Red Claws

Nominator's rationale: The team rebranded itself but it is the same club in the same building. Having two categories is unnecessary. User:Namiba 21:10, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Namiba, I'm assuming this is for merging Category:Maine Red Claws to Category:Maine Celtics, not renaming it, correct? If so, merge per nom. Omnis Scientia (talk) 10:01, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Cleveland Indians seasons

Nominator's rationale: Per name change. User:Namiba 18:30, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Rhythm and blues music genres

Nominator's rationale: Consistency with other similar categories. No need to clarify that it is music. Solidest (talk) 17:30, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Black metal subgenres

Nominator's rationale: Consistency with other similar categories. Solidest (talk) 17:27, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Drum and bass subgenres

Nominator's rationale: Consistency with other similar categories. Solidest (talk) 17:26, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Contemporary folk subgenres

Nominator's rationale: Consistency with other similar categories. Solidest (talk) 17:26, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Ambassadors of the Tsardom of Russia to Poland

Nominator's rationale: Correct polity is the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, not modern Poland. Constantine 16:18, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:ADD

Nominator's rationale: The article is Agency for Defense Development. "ADD" is ambiguous, and redirects to Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, for which there is also a category. Peter James (talk) 14:13, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agree I think it is better to change the name of the category to "Agency for Defense Development" for clarity of the category. Gasiseda (talk) 14:35, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Entertainment Studios

Nominator's rationale: C2D: Consistency with main article's name Mvcg66b3r (talk) 05:09, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Dem

Nominator's rationale: There is no Dem article so I'm not sure where this category belongs in the category hierarchy. Should it be deleted or merged somewhere else? Liz Read! Talk! 03:43, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Turkish prehistorians

Nominator's rationale: Upmerge for now. Only one page in each of these categories, which isn't helpful for navigation. Not every nationality needs a category Mason (talk) 01:56, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Jewish systems scientists

Nominator's rationale: Upmerge. Non-defining intersection per EGRS. I've already added everyone to a FOOian systems scientists category Mason (talk) 01:45, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Seborgan independence activists

Nominator's rationale: Extremely narrow category Mason (talk) 00:38, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Category:People born in the Confederate States

Nominator's rationale: Non-defining. This category is just about people who were born in the 1860s in the south. This is not a defining location. Mason (talk) 00:35, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Delete per nom. Omnis Scientia (talk) 00:06, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
