==Plot==

[[Physique magazine]] editor Ryuzaki begins a relationship with Kitami, a man he sees at a [[bodybuilding]] competition. Kitami has [[BDSM|sadistic]] tendencies that deeply unsettle Ryuzaki, culminating in an incident wherein an anguished Ryuzaki cuts one of Kitami's arms off with a [[katana]]. A year later, Ryuzaki has been recently released from prison following the attack. He keeps Kitami's arm preserved in [[formaldehyde]] while devoting his time to searching for him; he simultaneously searches for a copy of ''[[Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom]]'' to screen at the movie theater where he now works.

Ryuzaki is eventually reunited with Kitami after receiving an unmarked invitation to a [[masquerade ball|masquerade party]] being held at the theater. There, Kitami agrees to be with Ryuzaki, on the condition that Ryuzaki cut off his own arm. Ryuzaki takes the katana, but instead uses it to slash out his own eyes; now blind, he remarks that he will now always see Ryuzaki's body as it was the day that they met. The film concludes with Kitami and Ryuzaki dancing together on a pier while "Ostia (The Death of Pasolini)" by [[Coil (band)|Coil]] plays.
