The Swedish Volunteer Company, The Svir Company, was a company of Swedish volunteer soldiers in the Finnish Army during the Continuation War fought by Finland and Nazi Germany against the Soviet Union during World War II. In January 1942, the company succeeded the Swedish Volunteer Battalion that was disestablished after the Battle of Hanko in December 1941. The Swedish Volunteer Company fought on the Svir Front in Finnish-occupied East Karelia in the Soviet Union, giving it its nickname of The Svir Company.
