Visualizing Deletion Discussions on Wikipedia

Hi, I'm Dario. I am a researcher in social computing and cognitive science based in San Francisco. I joined the Wikimedia Foundation in 2010 as a research consultant and as of 2011 as a Senior Research Analyst with the Foundation's Strategy Team. Some of my recent Wikimedia projects include:

a study and visualization of the longest Article for Deletion discussions;
a survey to identify opportunities and barriers to expert participation in Wikipedia;
an analysis of data from the Article Feedback pilot (1 - 2 - 3);
coordinating the Wikimedia Research Committee, Wikimedia's research policy-making body.

I am an open source and open science advocate as well as a TeX-addict, you may occasionally find me edit articles on digital typography, but most of my contributions are about London in history and architecture (see for example: Smithfield, London ). I joined Wikipedia as an editor in 2004.
