Being the biggest youth film festival in Korea, the SIYFF (Seoul International Youth Film Festival) has provided a venue for youths to share their culture via films and media education since 1999. It aims to promote broader international exchanges among talented cine kids and establish network to improve their competitiveness in the film industry.
The SIYFF introduces international films about youths, by exploring works by budding writers and directors.
It also presents youth-made films and help them distribute own made films overseas so that they can find opportunities to meet global audiences.
SIYFF provides several programs: screening of films about family and inner maturity of children, short films made by teenagers, the camp, media forum and a street festival.
