The Fosi were a Germanic tribe. Tacitus, in his Germania mentions them as being neighbours of the Cherusci, who suffered alongside Cherusci in their downfall. He also noted that before their mutual downfall, the Fosi were less prosperous than the Cherusci.^[1]
