It has been suggested that this article be merged with Falcon Heene. (Discuss) Proposed since October 2009. |
This incident took place on October 15 2009 in Fort Collins Colorado when six year old Falcon Heene was accidentally lifted in an experimental aircraft. He spent a good period of time in the air before the balloon came down, but when the balloon touched down, he wasn't there. The balloon touched down south of Prospect Springs Colorado. The child was feared to have fallen out when it was realized that the door was unlocked and that the passenger structure was made from unreliable thin plywood.[1]
He was first noticed missing when his sibling noticed him climb into the aircraft.
This incident is still under investigation. A search is currently being conducted for the child whose current condition is not known.
