The film begins on a sibling Ramu (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) & Radha (Vijaya Nirmala) who are duo love, adore and inseparable. Ramu works as a lorry driver in a company owned by Raoji (Nagabhushanam) a person feigns as a kindhearted & well respected in the society but inherent a dangerous deadly gangster. Once Raoji looks at Radha, keeps an evil-eye on her and one night, he tries to molest when she is rescued by Avataram (Padmanabham) a guy allied by Ramu at one occasion. Meanwhile, Ramu fixes a nice alliance to Radha and aspires to present golden bangles for Radha for which he works hard day & night. During that time, Raoji falsifies Radha, makes her land at his place while escaping from him she jumps into a river. Being cognizant to it, enraged Ramu moves slay out Raoji. At the same time, the Raoji's illegal racket is caught by Police, so, he ploys by killing his slaughtering one of his partner Paul, defaces him, makes everyone believe that he has died and indicts Ramu in the crime. Frightened Ramu flees, becomes a wanderer in search of Radha and even loses the golden bangles. At that time, he saves a charming girl Sarada (Bharati) and strangely she is Avataram's sister. Now Ramu changes his name as Ravi, joins as a Taxi driver and falls in love with Sarada. Eventually, once a woman falls under Ramu / Ravi's taxi when a flabbergast she exactly resembles Radha. Rest of the story what happens?
Ramu ([[Akkineni Nageshwara Rao]]) is a lorry driver, he loves his sister Radha ([[Vijaya Nirmala]]) very much. In the story, Ramu's boss Raoji ([[Nagabhushanam (actor)|Nagabhushanam]]) acts as good human being, but another face of him seems to be very dangerous. He plans to rape Radha by sending Ramu on a job. But his plan failed due to the interference of Ramu's friend Avataram ([[B. Padmanabham|Padmanabham]]). Once Raoji traps Ramu in a murder case and takes away his sister to the underground. The rest of the story is how Ramu finds his sister finally and how he took revenge on Raoji.
