Plot

The first part will focus on Rei as he decides to live independently after bickering with his foster family. As Rei begins playing shogi with other shogi players he bonds with them with the exception of Masamune Gotō, who he has hated since he starting dating his foster sister, Kyōko Kōda. Luckily for Rei, he was saved by Akari Kawamoto after he got beaten by Gotō. After he became a good aquintance with her and with her younger sisters Hinata and Momo Kawamoto, as well their grandfather Someji Kawamoto. When the Kawamoto family learned of Rei's involvement with his foster family, they decided on protecting him no matter the cost. This made Kyōko disgusted with the sisters and Gotō became afraid of Someji.

The second part will focus on the Kawamoto sisters as they deal with their unfriendly father's return with another woman. Rei along with another shogi player decided to investigate their father and defend them when he sees him.
