There’s reason for celebration at ABC Family. For 2014, the network snagged its first No. 1 spot in primetime in women 18-34 (250,000/0.7). It also notched its highest annual primetime rankings in adults 18-34 (350,000/0.5) and viewers 12-34 (509,000/0.6).
The ratings were fueled in big part by Pretty Little Liars. The No. 1 series in ABC Family history wrapped as the year’s No. 2 cable TV series in females 12-34 (2.1 million/4.5) and ranked among basic cable TV’s Top 5 scripted series in adults 18-34 (1.5 million/2.3), women 18-34 (1.3 million/3.9), women 18-49 (1.7 million/2.7) and viewers 12-34 (2.4 million/2.6). Pretty Little Liars also is one of the Top 5 most tweeted scripted TV series telecasts of all time.
Chasing Life won its Tuesday 9 PM cable TV time period during its freshman season in women 18-34 (594,000/1.8 rating), viewers 12-34 (1.0 million/1.1 rating) and females 12-34 (905,000/2.0 rating).
