    I tested our water which has the obvious foul odor of hydrogen sulphide, then I tested a glass of reverse osmosis water that sat out overnight (no odor). Neither test strip changed to any shade of violet shown on the color chart. Rather, they maintained the same brown appearance of the unused test strip except they were wet. The picture of a single strip is a new unused strip. Yes, I followed the directions.Total waste of money.Buyer Beware! Buyer Beware! Buyer Beware! Buyer Beware!

    I tested our water which has the obvious foul odor of hydrogen sulphide, then I tested a glass of reverse osmosis water that sat out overnight (no odor). Neither test strip changed to any shade of violet shown on the color chart. Rather, they maintained the same brown appearance of the unused test strip except they were wet.
