What Will You Do?
The Ashley Virtual Interior Design Manager oversees the daily operations of the Ashley Design Services Team including completion of design documents, design development, training of team members, and process improvements to meet set Sales goals and KPI's of the business. The Manager leads the execution of production plans and creation of design solutions for the Company's brands as well as online virtual interior design services. This position will define project deadlines, track KPI deliverables and ensure quality standards are upheld. The Ashley Virtual Interior Design Manager will collaborate with cross functional teams to evolve the brand image and drive Ashley's business strategies as well as drive a best in class customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage, facilitate and oversee the creation of 2D and 3D floor layouts, design documents, renderings, and mood boards for client projects to meet established Sales and KPI's.
Develop and execute design initiatives based on business strategies. Evolve the implementation of Ashley's business strategies and design initiatives as applied to new and varied project types.
Utilize and share extensive knowledge of the furniture retail industry as well as Ashley's products and online exclusive products, operations, and manufacturing to reinforce Ashley's brand aesthetic and business strategies.
Manage multiple direct reports within Virtual Interior Design
Oversee the execution and adaptation of Ashley's brand objectives into unique and varied residential and retail projects, including project approvals, schedules and completion.
Collaborate with divisional sales executives and merchants to determine virtual representation of new and inline product display for Ashley's business partners.
Manage and delegate multiple complex projects, which include schematic design, design development, and virtual design for a diverse portfolio of projects.
Coordinate cross-functional teams on the execution of multiple projects at different stages of completion and varying complexity to ensure that deadlines are met. Record and communicate project status to directors and executives.
Prepare and professionally conduct meetings and presentations with internal teams and/or external clients. Regularly present to executive level management.
Oversee and approve cost-saving initiatives. Motivate the team to cut cost and waste out of the process.
Analyze and track virtual design metrics to continuously improve and support business decisions.
Establish working relationships with executives, internal cross-functional teams and leadership, and external clients to promote and ensure alignment with brand objectives. Responsible to resolve escalated concerns that occur at all levels of management and internal or external customers.
Continuous quality and process improvement ideation to progress personal and department efficiencies and deliverables as applicable.
Approve the selection of materials, finishes, products, and content within virtual environments.
Determine and integrate industry trends and Ashley brand initiatives into virtual design outputs.
Curate a selected floorplan for customers: scale, proportion, space, ext.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field or equivalent work experience: required
6 years of experience in a Virtual Interior Design or related field preferably Retail: required
Supervisory Management & leadership experience
Exceptional 3D visualization ability and advanced knowledge of the elements and principles of design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Experience in Photoshop, Sketch-up, and Enscape (preferred)
Work experience in Sales environment
Proven ability to create 2D and 3D design drawings and renderings as well as provide constructive criticism on team member projects

The Designer will be expected to work on a variety of project types including residential, hospitality, adaptive reuse, workplace, community, and cannabis industry. Responsibilities
· Production of design documents in all phases of design and construction, in collaboration with the full project team. This ranges from conceptual sketches to fully detailed construction documents.

Description:The Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) In-Service Ship Design (ISSD) Ship Repair Designer will be a subject matter expert (SME) in a major ship building discipline such as piping/mechanical, hull/structure, or electrical and have experience across the disciplines. They will provide drafting support for the marine engineering and design work in support the maintenance and modernization of the LCS Class. This work will include creating and maintaining AutoCAD drawings to support design specifications and documentation requirements of ship maintenance, modernization, and repair. The Draftsman will be expected to participate in planning projects and translate the engineer's direction into electronic drawings and coordinate with all stakeholders affected by the design. Travel will be required to a ship's location for planning and execution support (estimated 15 - 30%). This person shall support the ISSD organization in the following manner:
1. Create and modify AutoCAD drawings;
2. Assist in updating and maintaining released documents;
3. Perform required product updates;
4. Maintain accurate product documentation and work instructions
