Should use deprecated rank for this. Not meaningful in its current, circular, use as a "reason for deprecation" qualifier. --Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to An:dy; Andy's edits 10:46, 5 July 2017 (UTC)

Keep useful to hold the text and its translation. Not really a useful value for P2241.
--- Jura 16:10, 5 July 2017 (UTC)- Since when do we have random instances of label or definition for Wikidata statistics (Q21281409) to "hold text and its translation"? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 16:33, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
Keep we need labels about Wikidata model as part of Wikidata. We also need statistical dimensions. They are not organized as of now. Perhaps more properties would make them less arbitrary. d1g (talk) 02:38, 20 July 2017 (UTC)
Delete does not meet any of the 3 criteria on WD:N --Pasleim (talk) 09:01, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- Structural need. This way we can append the text to deprecated properties.
--- Jura 13:31, 8 October 2017 (UTC)- Structural need means it is part of a group (structure) or it is needed in a statement. None of that is given for Q27949739 --Pasleim (talk) 13:41, 9 October 2017 (UTC)

- I'm really confused. Does this mean the item is deprecated? Or do we use this item to mark things as deprecated? If we use this item to mark other items or statements as being deprecated, why are there zero uses of this item? Deryck Chan (talk) 15:45, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

- @GZWDer, Matěj Suchánek: does anybody actually migrate those messages? I don’t see a point in keeping this request open for an unforeseeable time, if there is no progress. —MisterSynergy (talk) 19:06, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

Keep. Allmusic + IMDB + VIAF seems enough for me to say this item is acceptable. (Notability criterion #2 - uniquely identifiable human being with publicly available reference to IMDB + Allmusic) Deryck Chan (talk) 15:51, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

- @Steak: are you trying to nominate Talk:Q83093/List of mushrooms or Q28020842 for deletion? (similar for above and below) Deryck Chan (talk) 16:35, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
- Well, maybe this talk page should be deleted, but I am nominating here the item, I don't really care about the talk page. Steak (talk) 17:54, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Steak: it's an item for a list, not a talk page. Nothing on the item should indicate the contrary.
--- Jura 08:29, 9 October 2017 (UTC)- Place this list as a subpage of a WikiProject or whatever. Talk pages are not notable. Steak (talk) 16:35, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- Indeed, it's the talk page of an item, with a listeria list of the same item in the talk page. Very classic, but why create an item to refer to the list, especially since the list is dynamic, and not exhaustive ? this looks like self-referencing... --Hsarrazin (talk) 12:46, 12 October 2017 (UTC)

Delete the item as self-referential and not meeting inclusion criteria. But
Move the list itself to Wikidata namespace. Deryck Chan (talk) 15:14, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- It seems you are contradicting what you wrote in the following section. I don't think there is an inclusion criteria the prevents us from having sitelinks to Wikidata. Where do you find this?

Not-notable talk page. Steak (talk) 09:50, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
On hold This item is linked from 2 others. --DeltaBot (talk) 10:00, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Jura1: Can you comment why you created this list as a subpage of an item talk page? --Pasleim (talk) 17:17, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
- It's not entirely clear where lists at Wikidata should reside. My initial attempt was at talk pages of associated items. List: would probably be best.
--- Jura 18:49, 8 October 2017 (UTC)- Just put it as a WikiProject subpage. A subpage of a talk page of an item (which is only a redirect) is absurd! Steak (talk) 12:51, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- I've notified User:Magnus Manske, who maintains ListeriaBot, about this discussion. Deryck Chan (talk) 12:33, 12 October 2017 (UTC)

Keep this item because it serves a structural purpose: it catalogues the other "lists of trees" of various regions in Spain using has part(s) (P527).
Move the list to Wikidata namespace. Magnus says the list will continue to work wherever it's moved. Deryck Chan (talk) 15:04, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
Padma Vibhushan (Q30143969): second highest civilian award of the Republic of India: (delete | history | links | entity usage | logs)
This is a duplicate of Padma Vibhushan (Q672392). The award is award is awarded for exemplary service to India, there are no specific awards ever given separately for various fields. --Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk) 10:35, 8 October 2017 (UTC)

- @GerardM: Can you comment? --Pasleim (talk) 16:30, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
Delete. This item purports to be a subset of Padma Vibhushan (Q672392), but with zero sitelinks and zero sources, it's quite clear that this is not notable. Since this item tries to be a subset rather than a duplicate of Padma Vibhushan (Q672392), deletion is better than merge. We can re-create this item if there are reliable sources that distinguish this from the superset topic. Deryck Chan (talk) 16:43, 8 October 2017 (UTC)
- Check Wikipedia ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Padma_Vibhushan_award_recipients
- @GerardM: I tend to agree with the nominator here. The award subcategory doesn't seem to be a well-defined entity in its own right and doesn't have independent notability. It does not serve any structural purpose that Padma Vibhushan (Q672392) (perhaps with qualifier) can't already handle. Deryck Chan (talk) 12:52, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- It is not a subcategory. When memory serves me well, they are part of the "Padma Vibhushan award". So there is no problem in the first place. Thanks, GerardM (talk) 13:18, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think that's right. My understanding is that these people are awarded the Padma Vibhushan for their work in civil service. There is no separate award called "Padma Vibhushan in civil service", unlike the various Nobel prizes. Deryck Chan (talk) 12:29, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, the Wikipedia list article has a column for category of their work, but as Deryck said, the award title is no altered, it remains just "Padma Vibhushan", but may be in the award citation, there is a mention on their field of service. --Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk) 16:03, 12 October 2017 (UTC)

Should be replaced with special value novalue or, for silent movies with intertitles, replaced with the true language. --Pasleim (talk) 13:45, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- I think it's being done for the first one (the item makes it easier to add the statements), but the other ones are not synonym with no-value. No dialog means the film has no spoken dialogue. It could also be that someone speaks but none understand the explanation, but this isn't meant here.
Deletion of these wouldn't add any value to Wikidata, but their existence should explain it to people, even those not interested in dialogir.
--- Jura 14:55, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- The value added is for example for people who to create a list of all languages that they don't end up with language "N/A". --Pasleim (talk) 17:47, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- I think we should be able to work this out in one way or the other without deleting the items. It all depends on the query and application. When looking at ISO 639-3 they do need to end up with this.

Delete As those are only used with original language of film or TV show (P364) which is defined clearly to be DELETED in the near future, there's no need to create too lots of faux BCP47 things. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 12:16, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- Temporarily
Keep N/A (Q21686005) because it's used by a lot of items and the associated property is used by many infoboxes.
Delete N/A (Q36610580) as it has only 1 use and the labels are untranslated.
Delete N/A (Q19970288) as it has already been completely disused. Eventually migrate all and
